    I almost cried watching this video. It is so genuine and heartfelt. I can tell you care. You deserve more followers. You literally saved my life. Your referral to me for a doctor in Orlando gave me hope. 11 days ago I started estradiol, bioidentical progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, B12, and thyroid meds. I should slowly start to improve. I pray that God blesses you abundantly.

    I had 5 miscarriages within 2.5 years. That was 10 years ago. I went to soo many doctors for help. They always sent me to Psychology. I was 45 when I had the miscarriages. It is obvious to me now that I had a dive in progesterone. So sad that because doctors would not listen that I have lost so many years of my life. I have recently started progesterone and I am praying I can get my quality of life back

    I' m a pharmacist myself & was also sceptical with hrt especially here in Asia where we're supposed to accept it as an aging process, until I went through late stage perimenopause with painful skin conditions, the hot flashes etc etc.. In despair I restarted my low dose OCP and the symptoms diminished within 1 week. Now I'm on proper hrt and have never felt better. Yr video is so inspiring, I am now reading more scientific evidence to educate myself to be a better pharmacist.

    Doctors being afraid of HRT is a social injustice. It’s ridiculous when I have to beg my Gyno to increase my estradiol- I had to show her the NAMS 2017 mission statement then she upped me 1 mg more. Most patients either get tired of advocating for themselves or feel they are crazy for asking for their hormones back bc they make it so taboo to do so. So most back off. Living a miserable life! The rate of suicide of women In menopause is not by choice or by accident. Quality of life Ans just being alive can almost entirely be helped with the right dose of HRT! Thank you for bringing awareness and providing wonderful insight. You are a blessing to me. Thank the Lord for people like you . Thank you 🙏🏻 #notscaredofHRT #ILOVEmyHRT #iNeedMyHRT #HRTnotHELL

      I absolutely agree 100%. It upsets me every single time I hear yet another horror story about a woman being denied hormones because her doctor is afraid of them. I've heard too many women describe the hell they've been forced to live through. That's why I'm here!

    I really appreciate your empathy and willingness to help. I found your videos after starting BHRT and I was fortunate to find a general practioner that said I was a good candidate for BHRT, because my blood work for everything else was fine, but my hormones were very low. I have been on them for 4 months and what a difference they have made in my life. I follow your videos and they are in line with my BHRT doctor, so I feel confident in my journey. I have recommended your videos to others.

    It’s not the hot flashes… it’s the mental disaster that turns us into somebody else. It almost cost me my marriage and my life . I was so suicidal … my kids kept me alive bc they still needed me. I started hating my husband who is an angel on earth , I saw him as evil and I was so irritated every time I saw him . Past 2 yrs we spent planning divorce.
    I started HRT and magic happened , I am back to normal . I am also training my husb in hormones so he understand what was wrong with me ❤. I am so happy now to be back myself and mist if all HRT saved my marriage and my life.

    Can you recommend some good doctors for treatment of my extremely debilitating symptoms in or near Leesburg, Virginia? I am unable to work or go to social events because my symptoms are so bad. Please help me find some really good help. I would love to find someone who actually seems to be available for me to see and talk to and actually seem to care about me and my body which reacts a bit uniquely to some medicines so someone has to be willing to have multiple meetings or discussions to try to get the levels correct. Most providers around here just want to see a client for the 15 minutes time slot and then you are on your own for the next month until there is another option to talk to them.

    I am so glad my Gyn is a woman, as is my Gyn Oncologist, that alone, besides their skill, knowledge and compassion makes a huge difference to me.
    I am going back and forth about having ovaries removed at time of hysterectomy. Please would you be kind enough to give your input, and suggestions for a woman in mid-seventies. It seems women up to the age of 64 commonly keep ovaries, whilst those of us who are older, do not. One doctor said it was a personal choice to discuss with Gyn. That's fine, but how can I make the appropriate decision when information tends to be somewhat conflicting, depending who one talks to. I understand that ovarian albeit rare and difficult to diagnose is a possibility. Thank you again for all your efforts to educate women, you work is much appreciated, Steve.

    Hello! Thank you so much for the videos… it’s helping a lot… one question next year i will be on my 40’s and my obgy said that i will need to do a mammogram test every year! I’ m really afraid of that because some natural docs are saying that the exposure every year of this kind of radiation can cause breast cancer after some years.. what’s is your opinion about that? Could you you please make a video about breast cancer and this type of exames?! Thank you 😊

    • @SimpleHormones
      @SimpleHormones  3 года назад +2

      Marcia - Hey, thanks for watching. I can understand your concern about mammograms. There are conflicting opinions about the recommended frequency and questions about if getting one every year is necessary or risky. To be perfectly honest, I'm not really qualified to comment on mammograms and breast cancer screening in general. Since my website is Simple Hormones, I try to ask myself 2 questions about any content I create: 1. Is it Simple? 2. Is it about Hormones? The answer to those questions, when it comes to mammograms are 1. Mammograms and breast cancer screening are not all that simple 2. Mammograms are not all that closely related to hormones. There's a complex and somewhat removed relationship between mammograms and hormones. For those reasons, I'll probably leave these topics up to someone who knows more about them.

    • @SimpleHormones
      @SimpleHormones  3 года назад +3

      I will also add that someone very close to my wife and myself had a mammogram that was fine, then had another a year later that showed a Stage 3 breast cancer for which she had to have a mastectomy and complete recovery/remission. However, that woman was 70 years old. The most common recommendations are that women between 45-54 get mammograms every year and every 3 years outside that range. If this woman had waited 3 years, it would most certainly have gone a lot worse for her. It's definitely not an easy question to answer.

    • @SimpleHormones
      @SimpleHormones  Год назад

      Aromatase inhibitors are definitely some of the most commonly prescribed treatments for breast cancer. Unfortunately, they do they have serious consequences for hormone levels and long-term health risks.

    • @normapenetta5940

      My breast was grade 1 tubular and grade 2 DCIs. The tubular cancer wasn’t even found after the mastectomy because it was so small the biopsy got it all. It didn’t show on the mammogram or ultrasound. And the doctors couldn’t feel it. I think in my case my risk is so low that AI causes more risk than benefits.

      In general, HRT won't affect your stomach directly. Progesterone has a tendency to cause nausea in some patients. It may be a good idea to start low and go slow with it.
