@@RsDrPowers I’m pretty sure NOTHING from the finale is shown during these. If guest stars are spoiled, it’s usually because their names are in the opening credits. But I don’t think seeing a random character from that season is spoiling that finale.

It's spoilery because the whole point of it is to remind you of things, places or characters you had forgotten but will make an appearance during the final episode (or wil be important, for that matter), that's why they have to remind you of those during the road so far. I do think once he is finished watching the series, he needs to rewatch again, "the road so far" included, its just a whole different feeling...IMO
I love this episode so much! My favorite moments are their faces when they see it, dean's look directly at the camera when he heard about destiel, the songs and sam teasing dean about the ship name. He was almost offended that they didn't ship him and cas😂 this entire episode is elite
this is a phenomenal episode in my opinion. a love letter between the show and its fans. a couple notes, when Sam and Dean see them sing Carry On it was for the first time as they didn't let J2 watch during rehearsal so that their reactions are real. Also Carry On is considered the theme song since it plays in every season in the 'then'. first in the penultimate episode in season one and in the season finale every season thereafter. they even had Kansas come and perform the song at the SPN panel at the San Diego ComicCon (Hall H baby) one year. I am so glad you enjoyed this as much as you did it is one of my favs.

Plus I love all the nods to fanfiction (which yes I’m guilty of reading especially a certain controversial brother relationship I will not spell out because if you know you know); but I also love how Dean broke the fourth wall; and how much fun the cast had while filming this episode!
chuck appears as a ghost at the end. so amazing. Also maybe before the finale of season 15 would you be willing to watch the compilation of carry on my wayward son for all the seasons to make up for missing them all? It would also give you a cool recap of the series.
this Carry on is on Spotify. truly, an indisputably excellent cover of a given song. the mellowing the speed, the harmonies, the tempo... all of it. the arrangement ↜ that's the most impressive part. still feels like the original but completely different.

Did you know or anyone know that the set crew set Sam and Dean's characters up for this episode. When they walked into the theater they actually didn't know what was going to happen. And they did that because they wanted the perfect reaction out of the boys. I found that little detail cool.
They said when Kevin was alive that no two prophets can be alive at the same time, implying Chucks been dead since season 7 when Kevin becomes a prophet. So its fuckin weird they brought him back here

I really appreciate this episode. But I hate the lame stereotype where people that are in their 30's are considered "old" to teenagers. I was a teenager, and not once did I think someone Sam's and Dean's ages were old...
I didn't really either, but even as an college age adult, I still joke around my parents and grandparents that they are old or ancient as I did as a teenager, especially around my grandma since we joke around eachother a lot.
I don't care for the episode that much either except for the singing part and Chuck appearing, but honestly, no SPN episode to me is the "worst episode" of SPN. That said, you declaring this episode the worst is an unpopular opinion.
