Galaxy box fan teardown..(cobweb and spiders inside!)

Got this for free from a neighbor..Not only was it nasty..but had a spider living inside it..Normally i down film tear downs..but this one seemed worthy of filming.

How is the cabinet/frame rusting already? It should take 1 decade or 2 for metal to start rusting.
