The censorship of the fireball spot was MANDATED by MTV's parent, Viacom. That stunt, even censored, is what led to WSX getting canceled and the remaining 6 episodes getting burned off, after a hiatus while MTV decided if the rest of the series would even air, in a late-night back-to-back airing of Episodes 5-9 one week and Ep 10 on it's own the following week to end the series.
Why was it censored in such a way that the fireball spot looked like a dragons breath? lol. It was Weird that MTV felt this was a reason to cancel while they had other shows like Jackass or Beavis & Butthead showing stupid violence.
That guy that attacked Vampiro is the same guy that plays Mil Muertas on Lucha underground and he also played the character of Judas Messias or however, you say his name in TNA wrestling
I don't know if anyone else pointed this out yet, but the ring announcer that you love (rightfully so) is retired wrestler GQ Money, who you might also know from his work in WWE as the carnival barker during the entrance of The Vaudevillians.
4:10 WSX was part of a bigger programming bloc, with changing musical acts. The musicians would perform before the show (the performances being cut from YT for copyright reasons afaik) and then join the comentary team. Because MTV.
The people along with Bret Ernst & Kirs Kloss at commentary are musical guests. In WSX episode 1 Black Label Society. episode 2 Three 6 Mafia. episode 3 Sparta. and now episode 4 Clipse. WSX will have more musical guests cause the show is on MTV.
My mouth was wide open, when VAMPIRO walked out. Why does he look like the VAMPIRO from the friggin 90s? He looks great but he hasn't looked that that in many years.
Ricky Banderas was mostly known for his Mexican wrestling days in I think AAA or CMLL, then he had a fued with Abyss in TNA wrestling involving Father James Mitchell which you should watch. There were some violent barbwire and Monsters Ball matches, then he had a long run as Mil Muertes in LU
Hi conman quick info for does who are interested in Ricky Banderas he is also uno of the most if not the most terrifying wrestlers in IWA Puerto Rico is gimmick has similar to the undertaker but with a twist of gable his matches are still the stuff of legends great hardcore matches we love that guy from the heart
Watch a REAL fire death match between The Sheik and Sabu vs Onita and Goto from FMW. It did not last long as the fires raged so intensely that the ring mat was bubbling, and the wrestlers had to escape!!! the 60 something year old Sheik received 3rd degree burns all over his back yet kept fighting and threw a fireball of his own at Onita!!! Pretty sure The Sheik (Sabu's uncle) invented the fireball way back in the 50s or 60s.
WSX is the best doomed from the start promotion. It aired on MTV back when the M still stood for something. There deal was made for 30 minutes of air time and had to start with a live music performance. Then the Music guests would join them on commentary. Between being on a network that didn't lean to a wrestling audiance an loosing a chunk of air time to the bands they had to cram as much into the remaining time as possible. That's how you get confused boy bands asking weird questions while your eating your sponsors sandwiches as wrestlers literally explode around you
There's a Arik Cannon story I have for ya, I went to a show once and it was a good show, afterwards everyone was at the merch table, now I grew up very poor so I was barely a teen at the time, I mean could barely even afford the ticket, I knew I wasn't gonna get anything from the merch table, but I saw some other kids going to wrestlers and getting autographs on their ticket stubs jus straight up so I joined in, I got a couple of names but when I approached Sara Del Ray she asked if I was even gonna buy anything I said I don't have any money and she proceeded to throw the ticket back in my face and said well youre not getting shit signed, I was so hurt by that 😅,but Arik Cannon saw this got quite upset and kinda cussed her out, he pulled me aside and spoke to me for a bit saying sorry for how she acted, I remember him saying "man f*** that b**** I'll sign it twice for you buddy" and gave me a high five and a bro hug, I will never forget that

@@Ogyaf holy crap no wonder he looked familiar, I remember him from xpw
Oh so that's why I've seen him before.
16:59 Bros name is literally “The Masked White Man”. I’m dead.
The Wish version of El Generico.

The name of that man that attacked Vampiro is Ricky Banderas
this definitely felt like the "We're more than just explosions" episode
And there we have it, the fireball spot that got this show cancelled.
Also, if Ricky Banderas looks familiar, he was Judas Mesias in TNA.
Wait the FIREBALL was what got this cancelled???
@conman167 Yep, MTV exec's thought it was too much for tv. That's why it was pixilated.
also mil muertas in lucha underground
That judas mesias from tna he feuds with Abyss couple time
The people along with Bret Ernst & Kirs Kloss at commentary are musical guests. In WSX episode 1 Black Label Society. episode 2 Three 6 Mafia. episode 3 Sparta. and now episode 4 Clipse. WSX will have more musical guests cause the show is on MTV.

Scorpio Sky has seemingly not aged a bit. And yes, I do think this was before Matt Sydal was signed to WWE.
Wasn’t expecting Scorpio Sky to be here lol. Learn something new everyday

Ricky Banderas was Judas Mesias in TNA and of course Mil Muertes
6:54 that's what Sydal used to use for his big finisher on the indies before he signed with WWE, he called it Cyclorama
Ruckus was a CZW legend!
Read it in wikipedia that the guest commentators are 'The Clipse' american hip hop duo
I've always loved your reactions to these videos Conman167 keep it up, YEET!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Mil Muertes was also Judas Mesias from TNA and he was abyss's brother and they had the 2nd barb wire massacre march in the history of tna
Ruckus was a god on the Indies

El Hombre Blanco Enmascarado basically translates to “white guy in a mask”.
Like your reacting to these ones from this promotion
2:43 - Is it just me... or does Scorpio Sky look more like 2 Cold Scorpio in this shot?

El Hombre Blanco Enmascarado is Spanish for, and I kid you not, The White Masked Man!
Its Mil Muertes from LU without the mask
Another great reaction conman167🔥👏🔥

you should do a reaction series of WSXtra after finishing the main show
That’s a really good idea!
Santi finally oiled up in the vid 🎉😂😂
Great reaction coman167 greeting from Scotland
This is kinda like fast paced Lucha Underground
Wsx 2007 evan bourne/sydal debuted in wwe in 2008 till 2014

Those visitors are a rap group known as The Clipse
Dude, Judas Mesias!
el hombre blanco enmascarado means the masked white man
Ive never been this early to a conman video, under 5 mins
Correction to earlier comment his name is actually the white man in masquerade
And that's the reason WSX got cancelled. Too many kids throwing matches at each other after this episode or something.
Who remembers wrestling society x
@@jordankirby3075 MTV2
Isn’t ruck the same guy for AEW music?
No that’s Micky Ruckus
Ruckus is an indie guy who mainly worked for CZW
@ oh yeah
&&& finally we get to this…what killed the show off the network

WWE is not the end all & be all of the wrestling world. Stop being a one company mark
@Conman167
Sydal went to WSX after WWE let him go in 2007
Evan Bourne didn’t even get to wwe until 2008 🤣 (if it was after he did this it would have had to be 2014)
