I'd easly take the C8Z over the Turbo S. That coming from someone that owned a 590RWHP C6 Z06 that I sold several months ago and currently own a modded 987.2 Cayman S. I like the Turbo S as lot, but the C8Z is on a whole other level.
Are you tall? I like Chevy interiors and they know how to make the car fit a tall person better. Any car is 90% interior and driving dynamics and 10% exterior in my opinion. Exterior is good for envy but for owning...its all about that interior!

Too few American cars feature 120 flat-rate hour replacements of 30¢ o-rings, water-cooled alternators (though Opti-Spark comes to mind), and months-long waits to be 3X overcharged for parts, apparently.
Car and Driver tested many different cars at a race track in Virginia. This Corvette Z06 ranked 5th in their lap test times. The cars quicker than the Corvette are the McLAREN Senna (1), Mercedes AMG GT Black Series (2), Porsche GT2 Weissach (3) and a McLAREN 765LT. These are Car and Drivers all time best at the track.
I love my Porsche but my Corvette is faster, rides better, and gets better gas mileage - which I thought was strange but it was true. Still love both cars. Interior is definitely nicer in the Porsche. Everyone was have a somewhat different opinion though and I respect that.
I like watching jonny drive these fast car's, especially when he smiles. Glad he found an american car he likes. I hate the porsche, they are bug eyed, and i didn't care for the exhaust. I would like to see jonny drive the lambo, because he cracks me up when he sends it. I only like classic american car's, but i like that corvette, the interior looks good, except for the square steering, didn't like it either. I like this vette, because you can actually see what's going on around you, where some of these fast car's you have a lot of blind spots. G-d bless y'all, and Christ paid the price.

Coming from the same country as Johny which there is nothing but BMW’s, Mercedes, Fiat’s, Opel’s and some other European cars… I can see why he says he doesn’t like American made cars. But with that said you can’t say that about old school mustangs and Camaros.

The Corvette and the 911 are the 2 modern crazy fast cars that you can drive daily and are reliable 👍🏼. Both have heritage, comfortable , parts availability and crazy fast 💨 numbers !
Of course the Z06 was impressive to Johnny. I would have preferred to have him drive a “Regular” C8 and hear his true feelings of that. I would even like to hear his thoughts of the C8 compared to the 911S supercar, even thought the 911S is twice the price.
Gotta say *Video Mike* I've been loving the recent videos .. a good blend of talk, detail shots, and editing. And the more modern music ( vs "rock" guitar stuff that *every* other car channel uses ) really helps Johnny's videos stand out. Well done !
I grew up on Vette’s. My Dad has two. So it’s in my blood. The look on the Ninja’s face when the Vette rolled in the garage had me rolling (lol) and the look while he was driving it was awesome to see.
Okay that's what I had to stop the video high-value Johnny's opinion but there's no comparison with the exterior of c8 Corvette and any type of Porsche in my opinion a Porsche doesn't even come close to the style of a c8 or a c7 Corvette Porsches exterior is very plain and non flattering I guess you can tell I've never been a fan of Porsche so it doesn't matter how much performance it has if I don't get past the exterior look of it it's a total non-issue Johnny you are the man though
if it proves reliable without all the failures and constant fixing required costing squillions of most euros I would pick this over lambo and mclaren, an older gated manual porsche and ferrari still another choice for me
The one thing I don’t like is the speaker covers on the doors, the fact you can see the circle or hole of the speaker is soo cheap looking. Other than that Chevrolet did great
I also don’t like American sports cars. Not because of quality, but because for decades they were one-trick ponies. Loud, obnoxious and couldn’t turn. Ford and Chevy are trying hard to dispel those old sentiments.

Well that was just fun to watch and I'm the same way, aaah, it's a Chevy, but it's on a whole other level than typical for them and everyone gets one right now and then. Cleetus had a similar vet he loved and he sold it to put the money towards other things he wanted to accomplish and he has a Turbo S Porsche now too he technically gave to Maddie that he loves and it's a very impressive car too. I've always been into American cars, Mopars specifically but there are so many cool cars out there now. Was super nice of Tyler to just let you guys play with his car and I certainly hope he gets his life back on track as he's spread the joy of cars and did some good things for people along the way to making what he is today.
Corvette should make a streaming mode where when you activate it, it automatically blurs the speed on the speedometer when you go above the speed limit based on GPS.
I thought the square steering wheel was a little odd too. I guess GM is throwing the aftermarket a bone since there won't be that much they can upgrade on the C8.
