The only thing I can say about this map is that I sure have blown more tires than ever before and this map sure isn't for the high range gearbox I could barely get to 4th in any vehicle that I have drove seems like every 100ft something slows u down from the rocks,snow,mud,or ICE js maybe when I get more used to it but I'm not seeing it. But happy I got content thx for all the work you put in! Enjoy loafing with your commentator keep on trucking

Yeah it’s a very slow map for sure, maybe once it’s opened up and we find some easier routes it might speed up, but it was the same for me really, very slow progress lol! Yeah I fully agree, it doesn’t add any extra dimension or difficulty to the game, you just think “oh ok, I’ll just hold the throttle flat out for a few minutes while I look around the room, bored”! I’d rather they added more ice etc to break through 👍🏻

The warthog is great, ive not fou nd upgrades for it yet but it has roof lights on the sides of the roof rack that actually light up. The navistar has em as well but only the front facing ones would light up. Scouts have roof top winch point now as well. Can't wait to find the f750 engine either. Great video and happy loafing brotatoe!
Yeah I’ve not driven it loads but it seems pretty cool so far and a good edition to the game 👍🏻! I’m glad it’s got plenty of power it feels like! Lol I’ve already used that roof winch point to crane a few loafs into sideboards and it does make it very nice and smooth, overall it’s a good update and plenty more stuff to do now 👍🏻! I too had the UI bug with the functions menu; overall lots of good improvements with part 2. My convoy of trucks to start with here was a dolphin with sideboard & sideboard trailer on chains, Lo4F on chains with radar, and a Tayga on drw chains with crane and saddle high towing a lowboy with a tatarin on it, I was glad I towed the tatarin through when I had to use it to rescue everything else...
Yeah it got me a couple of times but overall I can live with that for all the positives, it’s been a good update 👍🏻! Lol that sounds much more prepared than me, I eventually took quite a few things, I was thinking of doing the same and taking a tatarin, good idea really as I’m sure that does pretty well on the map 👍🏻
President, that damn super snow rears its ugly head alot on this map. But there is a really cool rock bridge similar to Lake kovd but even higher, my f750 was able to make it barely, don't think I could get a full size truck through it. I took a dolphin and loaf, loadstar, azov Antarctic, Pacific p12 and twinsteer and ended up rolling the loadstar, antarctic, P12, twinsteer and ran out of fuel in my dolphin just after completing the mission to open the garage so I got the warthog to get to the loaf to refuel it so I could drive it to the garage to open it. The loaf is a life saver. HORSE OF A VEHICLE.

You can unlock a garage in Imandra, you need to fix the power station and fix power poles. For the Power Station you need 2 sets of metal beams. Do NOT take the Twin-Steer. Either take a truck and trailer or 2 smaller trucks winched together. Once you load it down with 2 sets of metal beams it doesn't matter which way you try to get down off the mountain, you WILL roll the Twin-Steer. The Metal Beams pick up is not in a Twin-Steer friendly area.
Thanks dude I need to get on and sort that garage out so I don’t have to recover to lake Kovd each time lol the twin steer feels awesome but yeah I bet it doesn’t do too well on this map on those sorts of hills, that’s why I didn’t take it too far into the map near the start
@@itsmrlonewolf The Twin-Steer is awesome, but the metal beams loading zone is up on a hill, and both ways to get up is a rough trail with dips and holes. I made it up there with the Twin-Steer, getting up there isn't the issue. But trying to get back down the hill with the extra weight of 2 set of metal beams on the back, that's the issue. All you gotta do is sink the rear set of axles into a hole and that's it, whole truck is going over. I ended up using a dual truck combo, a Tayga winching a Azov 10X10 behind it. Granted Bruce with it's long low chin isn't the best choice either, but I wanted a truck with a crane to recover the load the Twin-Steer lost, and Bruce is my only truck with a cargo crane on it, so yea. I think a semi trailer might be alright as being connected to the truck does a lot to resist a trailer turning over. But honestly I think going up there with 2 6X6 trucks winced together is the best call for that trail.

It’s Mr Lone Wolf it took me 3 hours to do that mission was a pain in the ass. I should have used tayga but I flipped it in some deep snow and lo4s were running low on fuel so I went and did the mission with a single slot scout trailer and an f750 with a crane.
Thing Boy lol yeah I had a feeling some of these missions would be a beast! I suppose it’s better than it being done in 10 minutes and then back to waiting for more dlc lol! It’s nice that the f750 has a decent engine now, did you have that engine in when you did the mission?
It’s Mr Lone Wolf yup I had the engine. But had just gotten it. The missions to unlock the garage are broken power station. Then you unlock the mission repairing power lines (the one that took forever). Repairing power lines unlocks the garage. I decided to use the warthog and tow a tuz 16 behind it. On my way there I got a little to fast with the warthog and the 16 and warthog were both in the water. The warthog floats!
For the first time (and Ive completed the game up to the update) I found it a bit too hard going to grab a couple of hours of gameplay here and there. It takes an eternity to get anywhere. A challenge and character building for sure. The winch point in the middle of vehicles is most welcome though :). Keep up the fine work, still enjoying the videos 😁👌👍
Yeah I get what you mean, a couple of times last night I kind of purposely recovered to lake Kovd just to have 10 minutes of being able to travel at a higher speed lol! I’m hoping once I’ve learnt the map that there will be easier quicker routes! It’s a fun map but it’s definitely on the slow and steady end! Chains and offroad gearbox for everything on this map. The big Cat and Antarctic thing with 71" wheels have no grip on ice, so they can barely get up some icy hills.
Managed to do a bit after work last night, it's a shame about the super snow that makes the most powerful vehicles crawl at 1 mph with no real challenge but it is what it is i suppose. I also tested the freightliner now that they fixed the steering and I was fairly impressed because after watching your review of it, I never tried it until now.
Yeah the super snow is just pointless and like you say it’s no challenge or anything, just there for the sakes of it, and a bit boring! Oh is it lol I’ll have to try it again, the raw elements of the truck felt decent but yeah that steering was insane! If it’s different enough then I may do another review on it 👍🏻

This map gave me ligma. I managed to unlock the garage, the bridge in the loading screen is not a repairable bridge, every bridge is broken and you can’t fix them.

Something I figured out by chance. The White Western Star with an off road transmission completely steam rolls this whole map. I think just by chance it's build is the advantage narrow width and the wheelbase length always keeps one end or the other on good ground. ( I usually don't go for off-road trans either, but seemed there's just not enough room to get it going with high range it feels much weaker.)
I've grabbed the F750 engine upgrade on two playthroughs now (nortwest corner of Imandra). First time I took the Azov Antarctica, second time the CAT 745C. The cliffs killed me several times. Last time I fell off, I somehow managed to coax my way up again and get past it. And when even the 745C struggles in some of the snow parts, you know they've overdone it. Not to mention they combine icy parts with the deepest snow and you just have to pick your poison when you choose which truck / tires to run. And when you finally get to the garage after a couple hours - you get trolled again with an unlock chain before it can be used. Guess they felt the legendary trek to get there wasn't QUITE hard enough. I will never do missions there. One has to wonder what kind of sadist designed this map. I'm glad they went a different route with Yukon at least - haven't tried the later DLC maps yet.

Have you given the trials a go? Access them from main menu/new game/trials. One is a timed damage restricted point to point to point. Second one is a mapless recovery of 3 vehicles with none other than the god damn horse of a vehicle formerly known as Lo4f
Yeah I’ve had a little go with it but not much, it’s cool and it’s a start 👍🏻! Shows how much it was pressing into the ground, when you put it back down it lifts the rest of the truck up a bit lol! Much better now it’s tucked away

Iv gotten stuck with every one of my trucks which is 7 different ones now hell even the tuz 420 got stuck i cant get more then 100 feet into the new map any hints on what is a good truck
Derek Graham yeah this map is a punish it seems no matter what truck lol! I have to say the Tayga did do pretty well, if you’re able to take a loaf or some scout to use the radar trailer then it helps see where to go next etc! I’d say whatever you take it’s worth traveling in pairs if you can, maybe like the Tayga and the Voron grad or the Voron AE! With the Tayga there was enough random fuel trailers around the map so that wasn’t a problem, and having a loaf was actually handy for getting through narrow parts to go and get the watchtowers and upgrades, but a lot of the deep snow bits almost stop the loaf and most trucks to be honest! In the end the Tayga fully upgraded with the best advanced winch, and a loaf and radar trailer with an autonomous winch worked for me! If you can make it to that airport bit and get the warthog then maybe that could help if it was with another vehicle too! The main thing is picking the right roads etc, I found a lot of dead ends, once you get used to certain bits it does get a bit easier to travel across, good luck with it dude 👍🏻

👍. Just opened up the garage on this map. Used the mod buy rsk. The balloon wheeled ural. Nice looking mod but dam it’s sooo underwhelming everything needs tweaking. Doesn’t steer well, not much power, bounces to much even with a load on. Only saving point was it didn’t get stuck in the ice water. Only because of the balloons. Hope it gets a major update soon
Bugs... I had the other truck after releasing the winched Lo4f run off by itself! And vise versa, I had the Lo4f run off on its own. PS. when I say run off on it's own I mean I literally had to quickly change trucks to get it to stop! Luckily snow or trees stopped the other truck and not a cliff!
Haha I’ve not had that happen so far since this last update, but it did that to me on Lake Kovd and my dolphin started driving off lol! At least it didn’t mess your game up too bad 👍🏻 would be annoying if it jumped itself off a cliff lol
One thing I noticed after my game updated (I'm on PS4 btw) is that now anytime I try to refuel a vehicle, whether it be with a roof rack or a scout fuel trailer, as soon as I hit X on the refuel option in the function menu it will just automatically add fuel to what ever the first option is in the menu. It's almost like the button would stick, but my controller doesn't do it on any other menu other than the refuel one. Sometimes I end up taking fuel out of my trucks tank and put it into the roof rack because of this. Anyone else having this issue? Otherwise the update seems to be really good so far.
I’ve not noticed that yet but I don’t think I’ve used a roof rack or attached fuel trailer so far so I’ll have to try it out 👍🏻 thanks for the info dude

Why is everyone so caught up in the tayga? This thing always getting stuck and not that powerful. Seems like a big hype job because of its steering radius and speed, whats a good truck to match my avoz?

To unlock garage you have to fix the power station and power lines so your trucks can travel to the garage through electrical means.

They made the steering better on that freight liner. It’s actually driveable.

Snow can be brutal to drive through especially if you don't have the height and it just piles up in front of you.

I've grabbed the F750 engine upgrade on two playthroughs now (nortwest corner of Imandra). First time I took the Azov Antarctica, second time the CAT 745C. The cliffs killed me several times. Last time I fell off, I somehow managed to coax my way up again and get past it. And when even the 745C struggles in some of the snow parts, you know they've overdone it. Not to mention they combine icy parts with the deepest snow and you just have to pick your poison when you choose which truck / tires to run.
And when you finally get to the garage after a couple hours - you get trolled again with an unlock chain before it can be used. Guess they felt the legendary trek to get there wasn't QUITE hard enough.
I will never do missions there. One has to wonder what kind of sadist designed this map. I'm glad they went a different route with Yukon at least - haven't tried the later DLC maps yet.
This map is really really hard. I’ve gotten Bruce fully stuck in muddy snow a few times.

ProctoLogic I brought 4 Lo4fs they saved my dolphin Twinsteer and everything else at one point I had a warthog and tuz 16 floating down a river.
Yeah this map is a punish lol! I do like it overall but I can also see me not spending as much time on it as some maps because I don’t want to crawl along at 1mph all the time lol! I do like the cliff edge bit though and some other places 👍🏻! The snow is over the top though

Have you given the trials a go? Access them from main menu/new game/trials. One is a timed damage restricted point to point to point. Second one is a mapless recovery of 3 vehicles with none other than the god damn horse of a vehicle formerly known as Lo4f
They updated the derry long horn again now the dead axle is able to be raised and lowered
Yeah I’ve had a little go with it but not much, it’s cool and it’s a start 👍🏻! Shows how much it was pressing into the ground, when you put it back down it lifts the rest of the truck up a bit lol! Much better now it’s tucked away

Yeah that would be pretty cool, I kinda think of the big Yar tyres like that but they seem to be terrible in snow for some reason? Some more tyre variety would be cool though 👍🏻
Iv gotten stuck with every one of my trucks which is 7 different ones now hell even the tuz 420 got stuck i cant get more then 100 feet into the new map any hints on what is a good truck
Derek Graham yeah this map is a punish it seems no matter what truck lol! I have to say the Tayga did do pretty well, if you’re able to take a loaf or some scout to use the radar trailer then it helps see where to go next etc!
I’d say whatever you take it’s worth traveling in pairs if you can, maybe like the Tayga and the Voron grad or the Voron AE! With the Tayga there was enough random fuel trailers around the map so that wasn’t a problem, and having a loaf was actually handy for getting through narrow parts to go and get the watchtowers and upgrades, but a lot of the deep snow bits almost stop the loaf and most trucks to be honest!
In the end the Tayga fully upgraded with the best advanced winch, and a loaf and radar trailer with an autonomous winch worked for me! If you can make it to that airport bit and get the warthog then maybe that could help if it was with another vehicle too! The main thing is picking the right roads etc, I found a lot of dead ends, once you get used to certain bits it does get a bit easier to travel across, good luck with it dude 👍🏻
I managed to get 75% of the map uncovered using the tayga with a loaf in the bed and radar trailer attached.
That’s nice going dude 👍🏻 it takes a good old while to get across this map lol, I’ve probably got roughly the same amount uncovered too! A Tayga and a loaf worked pretty nicely for me as well 👍🏻🍞🐎
It really is the toughest map to traverse yet, now to figure how im getting all these tasks done lol. Looking forward to more game play from ya

To unlock the garage I had to used the Tuz 420 & Azov Antarctica because of the big tire. Them other trucks it's a pain in the ass.
👍. Just opened up the garage on this map. Used the mod buy rsk. The balloon wheeled ural. Nice looking mod but dam it’s sooo underwhelming everything needs tweaking. Doesn’t steer well, not much power, bounces to much even with a load on. Only saving point was it didn’t get stuck in the ice water. Only because of the balloons. Hope it gets a major update soon
Bugs... I had the other truck after releasing the winched Lo4f run off by itself! And vise versa, I had the Lo4f run off on its own.
PS. when I say run off on it's own I mean I literally had to quickly change trucks to get it to stop! Luckily snow or trees stopped the other truck and not a cliff!
Haha I’ve not had that happen so far since this last update, but it did that to me on Lake Kovd and my dolphin started driving off lol! At least it didn’t mess your game up too bad 👍🏻 would be annoying if it jumped itself off a cliff lol
One thing I noticed after my game updated (I'm on PS4 btw) is that now anytime I try to refuel a vehicle, whether it be with a roof rack or a scout fuel trailer, as soon as I hit X on the refuel option in the function menu it will just automatically add fuel to what ever the first option is in the menu. It's almost like the button would stick, but my controller doesn't do it on any other menu other than the refuel one. Sometimes I end up taking fuel out of my trucks tank and put it into the roof rack because of this. Anyone else having this issue?
Otherwise the update seems to be really good so far.

And one more thing has anyone noticed in-cab view seems a little different seems like it drives better in cab maybe it's just me

It’s part of the DLC dude so you’ll need the season pass to get it 👍🏻! Which trailer do you mean lol? If it’s the radar trailer then you get it from the train station in Lake Kovd
