Seeing Donny gesturing toward Lalah and hearing their voices blend so well together and the musical technicalities and mastery that Lalah brings to everything she touches this was almost too much for me to take! This was absolutely beautiful in every way! Donny will forever be missed but we are so blessed to have his music and his legacy go on through Lalah and the music they’ve both contributed to this world! I could go on forever!! This was truly beautifully done.

I appreciated hearing the story behind it all, it's such a brilliant idea to pull this one from the vaults and transform it into a father/daughter duet. What a beautiful way to honor him! Not a version! His is the original :) This one with Lalah is a vocal version with some variation from the original though, it was found from the vaults after his passing. She said in an interview it was probably recorded before the original when he was still working out the vocals for the song.

Love the lights and glitter depicting the very happy proud Dad... to his daughter Lalah, although very young at the time, I can't imagine that he would not have placed her on his lap or next to him on the piano bench while he played... Many people may have given us renditions of this song. And although they may have worked with him spent time with him. Lalah, by genetic code being the only one who send a Christmas at home with him, could understand what the song meant to her father...and how he wanted it to sound.... Although we no longer have Mr. Hathaway with us he gifted us with his recordings to still relish and most importantly he and his wife gifted us with two musical prodigies in both of their daughters. In many respects Mr. Hathaway still lives on through them.
