Hi Cynthia. Oh my… I love all three choices. I know you will make a great pick. I really love the magnolia dress. I think it’s so dramatic for an event. I would do the same and make the higher v neckline. You just brightened up talking about the Magnolia. ❤ Diann
Thank you, Diann. Yes, I will definitely want to make the higher neckline. This dress will take me a little out of my comfort zone but will be a fun dress to sew. Hope you and your family are doing well. 😊
Hi Cynthia 👋 They are all lovely my favourite is the first fabric and the second pattern ,oh a hard decision between the three ,they are all lovely ,I can't wait to see what you choose 🥰
I first thought about using the blue and red fabric for the Alana dress, but I have some beautiful red buttons that would look wonderful with the Gigi. 😊
They’re all very nice choices. I think my fav is the Lise Tailor Gigi. I like the clean lines and it will be gorgeous in that fabric. Perfect for October. I’ve made the Lise Tailor Groovy skirt and found the instructions very clear and easy to follow. Sizing worked out without an issue. Frocktails sounds like so much fun. I’m totally jealous.
The fabric choices are all lovely. I think Option 2 is my favorite one for this time of year as we’re heading into autumn. Whatever you choose is bound to be fabulous. Enjoy yourself at the Frocktail Event. Sounds like fun.
Gorgeous choices! I like the Magnolia dress and corresponding fabric the best as a chique choice. The first one, although pretty looks almost exactly like the dress I'm wearing at the moment, and although I love it, I don't feel particularly chique in it. The second choice would be lovely too, but for some reason, I'm really drawn to the third choice.
Hi Cynthia, all three fabrics and patterns look good. I think the Magnolia dress will look very Sheik. The fabric has less drape than the first two, but I think that will work well with a regal look for this pattern. I am going to the Melbourne Frocktails in Australia in November and making mine and my sisters dress. It is quite an exciting process to be making something out of my comfort zone.
Well, I think you're mighty partial to the Magnolia Dress and I was too until I saw the fabric for the Atelier Jupe dress up next to your face. You really glow in that fabric! So my new fave is the Atelier Jupe but I know you will be stunning in any of them. 😍
I like them all! Any of them would be fabulous. I would just encourage you to be mindful of the bust point if you use fabric number three. My last dress had a bee design, bees inside circular designs and individual bees. The overall pattern wasn't symmetrical so it took me eons to figure out a placement were a bee of some sort didn't fall directly on either bust point. I'm sure you'll do a great job, but I'm just super sensitive after the stress of laying out my last dress front pattern.
I would go with the Magnolia. I will see you there. Carol from Polly Sews is coming from California and I am coming from Greenville SC. We will look for you!
I love the fabric for the magnolia and it would be beautiful as the magnolia. The other thing I was thinking though, is that you mentioned the wearability of the dress in the fall, and the magnolia appears to be a special occasion dress. All,three dresses are lovely and you will look lovely in whichever one you choose. Enjoy sewing the dress and have fun at frocktails.
Thank you so much for giving your input. I do believe that all three are lovely. The fabric I ordered for the Magnolia is beautiful but I have decided it may not be lightweight enough to make it work. We'll see. 😊
This is the first video from you that I have watched. Personally I would go with the 2nd option because you said you've made several of those patterns Go with something you know. 2nd would be the 3rd choice with higher neckline and longer skirt. All the patterns are lovely.
Thank you so much for your input. I am working on the Atelier Jupe dress, and I may wear it. If time allows, I may sew all of them before I choose. Thank you for watching. 😊
I use PDF Plotting for most of my pattern printing. I print a few things at a time because they offer a discount the more you spend. I also have used The Fold Line before as Beyond the Pink Door online fabric shop. I use the fabric store if I am only printing one pattern and purchasing fabric at the same time. I hope this helps.
Hi Cynthia, I think they are all beautiful, but my favorite is the Gigi dress.
Hi Zelda. Thank you for voting. I hope you and your family are having a blessed week. 😊

Thanks, Vicki. I believe it’s going to be a tough choice. I’m glad to hear you had a good experience sewing a Lise Tailor pattern. 😊
All lovely but I think I like the atelier jupe option best
Thank you for voting. It is a beautiful option. 😊

The magnolia dress for sure!
Thank you for voting. 😊
So hard to choose as they all look lovely. I think the Magnolia dress would be perfect for swishing about at Frocktails!
I agree. They all are lovely. Thank you for voting. 😊
Go with what in your heart and I believe it’s the Magnolia dress!
Thank you for voting! 😊
I vote for the Magnolia, with the longer skirt. But, you make whichever pattern makes your heart sing! 💗
Thanks Andra. I’m concerned the fabric is too heavy. I may have to rethink the fabric if I go with the Magnolia dress. 😊

That sounds wonderful. I completely understand. The Magnolia dress would take me out of my comfort zone. It’s a tough decision. 😊
I think the Magnolia dress would look gorgeous on you! 🤩
Thank you, Lynn. Are you sewing something new for Frocktails? 😊
I can’t wait to see whatever you decide to make! I have felt the same about the Magnolia Dress. Looked at it time and again.
Thank you, Christine. I look forward to seeing you and other sewing friends.
They are all gorgeous but I think I'm leaning towards the Magnolia dress 🤩
Thanks, Irene. It’s going to be a tough decision. 😊

Awww. How sweet. That’s why it is a tough decision. 😊
I think you would look fabulous in the Magnolia dress and you seem to light up more when you are speaking about it.
Thank you for sharing and voting. 😊
They are all beautiful patterns and fabrics, but my vote goes to the Magnolia dress!
Thank you for voting, Izzy. They are beautiful. 😊
Cynthia, I think the Atelier Jupe would look fabulous!
Even if I do not make it for Frocktails, I believe I still need to sew that for fall. It’s beautiful. 😊
My vote goes to the magnolia dress. The fabric and pattern is a step above the others.
Thank you for voting. I agree it looks a little more. 😊
Deer and Doe Magnolia out of that lovely cotton sateen is my vote...and I'm voting 10 times. Ha ha!
Ha Ha. So far, I believe it is winning with other viewers too. 😊
I agree with joanneblair. The magnolia dress.
Thank you for voting. 😊

Glad you mentioned that, Nadine. I hadn’t thought about that. Thanks so much. 😊
Option 2
Thank you 😊

How exciting. I look forward to meeting both of you. 😊

I vote for the third option. Mainly because the fabric is gorgeous!!
It is a beautiful fabric. Thank you so much for voting. 😊
Yes! The fabric and the pattern are gorgeous!
Thank you for voting 😊
Where do you send it off for printing?
