Divide, is a 12 note top octave style user oscillator for your KORG logue-sdk compatible synthesizers (minilogue xd, prologue and even the NTS-1). Capable of emulating different types of divider organs with some of the various 'effects' offered by these instruments, it can do much much more, as demonstrated in this video.
Enjoy!
No idea why you're doing this, but I'm glad you are. A gift from heaven. I bought some other dudes patches which was using some of your plugins, now I'm down the rabbit hole on your site.
Hey thanks, glad you’re enjoying the content.
This guy a genius, he can fuc*in play and he can fuc*in code! Lets be honest, that is NOT an everyday thing :O
Hey thanks!
I am stoked to try this out! Thanks so much for what you do
Absolutely amazing work. Congratulations to this masterpiece.
Hell yeah to When The Musics Over
This sounds awesome! I can't wait to try it. Thank you.
Outstanding work as always. I have sent a contribution through Paypal and look forward to having a play with this later. Somewhat perversely I got a Prologue whilst lusting after a YC, so this is right up my alley - any more organ-focused user oscillators (particularly if modelled on specific models like the YCs) would be truly welcomed!
Hey, thank you! I’ll have to check out the YCs , although if I recall they sometimes (like the Cs80) used both high pass and low pass filters together to get a band pass sort of sound with some registers. There’s also a few “B3” style user oscillators already, with this I was curious to see how a:the 12 note oscillator detune would sound (especially with the mixture drawbar) and b: modelling how the vibrato lfo affecting 12 independent oscillators with ever so slightly different amounts as would occur with the circuit.
@@hammondeggsmusic if you're into organs anyway you might enjoy this great demo of the YC-30.

Part of the joy of organs like these is knob/drawbar per function, which you can't get with the user oscillator on the 'logues, but it might be possible to get some of the vibe at least - particulalr with layering two patches on the Prologue.
j bowman Absolutely - and the ability to just reach and grab that knob or switch and change it on the fly - which the logues do in their own right with their envelope / synthesizer functions too.
At first when I saw there were only 6 user parameters for the user oscillators I remember thinking “aw nuts, surely there’s no technical reason for just 6” - and there really isn’t, but now it’s making a bit more sense. If I exposed *every* parameter via an editable item there’d be dozens, and this would put you back in DX7 era menu diving hell just to get to that one option you need - no thanks!
@@hammondeggsmusic Agreed re menu diving. I think there are a few things Korg could do to open up options without too much trouble (eg allow more options to be assigned to the mod wheel, pitch bend and lfos, expression pedals, midi CC, velocity etc). There should also be a way to fix the Prologue in "Shift" mode - otherwise to access shift functions you have to take both hands off the keyboard which is a bit of a bummer! That's niticking really, as I am very happy with it, and I appreciate there's a balance between making things "better" and overcomplicated...
OK, first thoughts playing with this this evening this is great! Key click is scarily realistic, it really does give the illusion of being a mechanical part of my Prologue. The Alternate Repeat LFO can be taken into really experimental territory. At the same time its easy to get some quite beautiful tones just from the unmodulated voices with a bit of detune and vibrato.
yet again amazing
That is stunning ! Incredible work !
okay, the arps are what got me. I might just wait until the sample pack is available, but there's some awesome stuff here! I want, nay need, all those arp patches!
This is really cool!
WoW - that's amazing!
Sounds very cool
Awesome work! I know what I'm doing tonight 😎
Love it. Makes me wish korg would release a cheap 6 voice digital!
Prologue 16 is dirt cheap now if you consider what you get.
It's incredible what you do here. If KORG doesn't give you a fantastic job or buy this stuff from you they are plain stupid.
that patch at 1:53 sounds awesome. is that a custom distortion FX or something?
Hey thanks! Yeah that is running through my “Cabernet” amp sim / distortion effect for the xd, it’s not externally processed.
Nice!
Wow. Great job. Thank you! I recently donated some money and I'm now even happier that I did. Any chance this can simulate the Elka X705 space organ in any respects? One of my dream home studio keyboards
Hey thank you! Hmm, you could try using this with my “Buckets” (or “Brigade”’- same but with fixed values) string ensemble chorus..
This is crazy... can I use it on the "module" version? Same thing, right? Cheers!
This certainly can work on the xd module / NTS1, though the NTS1 is monophonic.
LOL i can finally do my ray manzarek impression
dope. why these away, you could sell these like sinevibes.
so i downloaded a few of your fx/user oscillators. i think there may be a problem with your older ones. maybe cuz my minilogue is up to date. idk i downloaded arrhh, buckets, hera, grit, random and chips and none of them will load in. it says file format not supported. only ones that i got working are wah wah and 1973. thought i should let you know. think theres a way to fix it?
There shouldn’t be any issues with those - I’d suggest ensuring you’re dropping them on the right page (e.g. delays on the delay page etc...)
i love u
@---,----#----- THX so much!
