Vinland saga is truly something of a kind. It turned the genre on the whole killing business. The world still is gruesome but the message ! Oh the message is so beautiful.

Although it is interesting to see how it will be presented in Vinland Saga further down the road.
@@OptimisticNihilist1244 I think what the writer (of Vinland Saga) wants to convey is don't hate other people for whatever they do, as we ourselves have same shortcomings as them like Anger, Greed, jealousy,fear,Pride etc. Hating others means hating ourselves and ignoring our own shortcomings. I think, "I have no enemies", have much deeper meaning than just not having enemies. There will be people who will view you as their enemies, it doesn't matter what you think about them, they'll do anything to harm you sometimes without any reason as well, but you'll have come out of those situations using your brain and if time comes you might've to use the last resort, but before reaching to it you must've used up all other means possible to avoid violence. But even violence must be used as self defence and it should not be driven by hate. I think that's the message of Vinland Saga.
