      @@wrecked8746 These days French is way better than in this video but the main thing to keep in consideration is that by speaking them one after the other, complicates a bit things and makes tongue twist and the mind fart..it's mentally exhausting if there's no script and when it's not learned by heart as you can clearly see. Anyways to be fair, french was the one is had to improve the most so I'd list it down as the worst one.

    This is so great. I grew up bilingual (German father, Peruvian mother) and learned English and French at school. My kids are being brought up quadrilingual, German/Spanish at home (for mom is German and dad Mexican) and English and French outside of the home/in school for we live in Montreal which is completely bilingual. I'm excited to see how well they will speak all their languages in the end. They are still fairly small. I hope they speak them as well as you do :)

      Montréal is the only place in Canada where children can be bilingual. Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver are just English while Québec City is just French.

    Ich finde es faszinieren, dass du 7 Sprachen sprechen kannst und die dann sogar noch so gut.
    Ich bin auch Albaner aus dem Kosovo und wie viele Albaner wissen, sprechen die Landsmänner häufig sogar mehr als nur 2 Sprachen, z.B mein Opa er spricht Serbo-Kroatisch, Deutsch und natürlich albanisch und mein Vater genauso. Ich persönlich würde auch gerne französisch oder italienisch lernen, aber derzeit muss ich mich auf Schule konzentrieren und dort habe ich leider keine weitere Fremdsprache ausgewählt, halt nur engliach, ist ja selbstverständlich..
    Mach weiter so, du bist super!

    As a french native speaker, I'm really impressed. I had no difficulties to understand you, that was great ! I learned english during high school and I'm still learning it, and I started to learn spanish 4 months ago. What do you recommend to improve quickly ? Don' t you think that listening/speaking is more important than reading or writing ? Is it possible to speak a foreign language fluently without going to a foreign country ?

    • @onlyfortravel
      @onlyfortravel  8 лет назад +4

      Hey Anthony! Thanks for your opinion and interesting comment first of all! In fact you're kind of anticipating parto of my next video "how to learn languages - 10 tips" :)) Well, to improve quickly i always recomend music videos with lyrics and books; Then i must admit that I am convenced that the connection that you create in the listening -speaking phase is way more important than the grammar part at first, but of course once you've moved your first steps, it comes a time in which you literaly feel the language as part of you and you definitely should accompaign this growth also taking care of grammar and written production that are basics to fix and remember new words in order to enrich your vocabulary! I definitely think taht you can learn languages without going abroad, nowadays we have the tools to make it anyway :) But i think that no tool etc. will ever replace the deep emotion you feel while learning and practicing abroad. Having such as opprtunity shapes really your relation towards languages, your skills and of course the performance :) Anyway, Good luck buddy and keep in touch!! Let me know how it will be going :))

    • @anthonyboul54

      Thank you so much for your prompt answer. I won't miss your next video about how to learn languages ! And I agree, once you have the basis of a language, time has come for learning grammar. It's strange but sometimes I have no difficulties when I'm listening english (for example series like NCIS) but sometimes, it's really hard (I barely understand when the characters are speaking in Chuck TV series). I think it must depend on the accent, and my ear is trained with certain accent.

    • @onlyfortravel
      @onlyfortravel  8 лет назад +4

      Don't worry, it's quite normal and it happens for several reasons..( when you're tired, not focusd, thoughtful and you kind of build a wall without noticing it)..and of course one of those is the different accent! I remembrer watching the first episodes of Game Of Thrones..it was shocking to me..It was pretty hard to follow what they were saying, but then i got used and everything went well.. it just needs time to get used as you also said :))

    Your accent in each language is great. I only understood Spanish because I have been learning it for more than two years. And having been learning French in the last 6 months I could also understand bits and pieces of what you have said but I need to work harder on it. Finally Italian, I always loved this language and I actually took some basic lessons in Italian so that when I start I will be all set. By the way I never knew there was a Belgian language, I thought everybody speak French and Dutch there but good to know!

    • @onlyfortravel
      @onlyfortravel  8 лет назад +4

      +Saad Altuilaai Thank you very much, you've been really kind to me!! It's really great the fact that you're studying so many languages!!! I wish you good luck in each of them 😊 about Vlaams taal: it's basically Dutch, but the variety of Belgium is called like this; i can of course understand Holland's Dutch.. But there are still lots of differences..
      if you need some help lets keep in touch! 😊
