I was wondering if it might be worth advising on rebuild costs on every video, or maybe producing a video that gives these details as of a certain date, so for knstance 'thiese are indicative prices as of this date'. As for me, im just day dreaming when i watch these videos. Im 62 years old and out of work and money, but i can still dream!
Hello! We can give ideas and rough prices but it’s a bit of a ‘how long is a piece of string’ question, depending on what people want. What I would suggest is that people email with exactly what they want and I can get an exact quote. Stone walls for example are €150 per sqm. Block walls less than half that. We have overseen the fitting of kitchens for people at €3,000 and we have also overseen kitchens for €30,000. So I’m always a little hesitant to give exact quotes on film due to peoples tastes and requirements, which will affect a quote greatly. Hope that makes sense 😁 💕 Electricity: EDP have a website (EDP.pt) and on there they have a simulation where you can enquire as to how much it will cost to get you connected up to the grid!

Ola’ Joseph I have a question there’s a RUclipsr name CindyVine is showing us she put in some IBC water tanks and a flushing toilet and she is flushing the toilet and it’s going on the ground in the yard she has no septic tank or means sewage is that legal in Portugal and can ex-pats keep get away with that there’s illegal things going on this form can you have someone look in to this illegal things It’s not right putting illegal stuff on RUclips she is transporting animals with out having a transport license and she been doing this for 2 years now and she keeps getting away with it she does not care about Portugal law’s thanks Joseph

A lovely video 😊 That ruin has huge potential and a lovely feel to it. I have seen people say that as a very generalised rule, you can expect to pay the same again in renovation costs. Would you say that’s a fair assessment Joseph (given wide parameters in what people want as an end product 😀) I loved hearing André speaking more English. Not for our sakes as we should be familiarising ourselves with more Portuguese- but for him so that he becomes more at ease flipping between languages as you do so well Joseph 👌🏻 Great video 👍🏻
Looks perfect for me this and in my price range. I am tied up at the moment on a refurbishment in the north west England, do you have to submit plans for the ruin ? If so how long is the planing process over there , would they be ok with going off grid solor ect

70,000 euros for one hecter. How much to renovate the ruin? Probably more than I can afford. Some stars are unreachable. 😢
The value is in the size of the ruin, most ruins are 30m2 this is 140m2. renovation will be another 70k estimate
