I just left Cosmo a few days ago! I had a fountain view, which is my favorite. However, in the winter months, I usually get the strip side because you get the sun in the morning. So even on those chilly mornings, I can sit on the terrace and enjoy my coffee!!
You're always there, these days! Good point about the sun in the winter months. The robes have kept us warm so far, but it would be nice to have a little more sun in the winter.
Just stumbled across your channel! Looks like I’ll be binge watching your Vegas videos. It’s our happy place and we stayed at The Cosmo for the first time last January!
Great video great question.... The view in every Strip hotel is major for us.... and the view from the Cosmopolitan LV is very VERY key because many times the view may not determine a different price... iv'e had the same room type with very different views and paid the same ... in fact a bit more for the non fountain view (could've been the time of year for the price but ......) We will be at the Cosmopolitan LV in September for my Birthday and we are challenging ourselves to stay inside of the Cosmopolitan property for the ENTIRE stay... Breakfast,Lunch ,Dinner.... Cathryn with the arms length measurements is one of the FIRST things we remember from when we started watching... fun fact... each and every time we go out on our terrace at Cosmopolitan LV we stretch our arms to the end and look at each other... LOL... so that simple thing has made an impact on people... Again great video .. be well
When is your birthday in September and how long are you staying at the Cosmo? That's a great challenge and totally doable, we think. We were absolutely shocked that we didn't leave Cosmo for 2 days. We normally hit 1/4-1/2 of the strip casinos each day, so staying in one place was a new experience and we didn't mind it at all. Too funny about the arms on the balcony rails. We're glad that was memorable - it was all we could think of to capture on video how far we are from the edge :)

Hi Guys, we are at the Cosmo now! After watching your videos we chose a One Bed Fountain View. What we actually ended up with I believe is a Studio Terrace Fountain View in the Chelsea Tower but it’s a 35 series room and it’s absolutely huge! 2 bathrooms, one of with is ginormous! Still has the Japanese Soaking Tub as well! Balcony is also soooo long. We were told at check in that there is only one of these room types per floor, it’s superb!

I’ve been staying at the Cosmo for 11 years now and one time I got a room that wasn’t a fountain view and was very disappointed. A fountain view is a must have for me. I stay in a wraparound so the Boulevard tower is another must have because they are close to the elevators whereas it’s a long walk in the Chelsea tower. The boulevard tower also has much easier access to the restaurants except for the buffet.
I haven't stayed in the Cosmo. Right now for me the view isn't important I need 3 hours of sleep, shower and out on the strip. When I do stay at the Cosmo, one day, I would like to have a fountain view. Also, I will only stay at the property my entire stay. Great video!
@The Midlife Ride lol, it's a process time flies by when you're having fun. Breakfast walk the sites last trip. I went to area 15 that took half the day. I have to go back there more to see.
I think the view is important when you visit Vegas alone, because you tend to come back and relax in the room more often. When you are there with one or more people, everyone tends to find more and more things to see and/or do and you stay out of the hotel a lot more.
Good points! We never used to care about the room or view because we were always out on the strip. But, the older we get, the more we appreciate the downtime and the balcony with fountain/strip view makes us feel like we’re still enjoying Vegas during our breaks :)
We love this particular room at the Cosmo because of the Japanese soaking tub. We do prefer the fountain view, as it's a bit quieter than this one. But, as long as there's a tub and a balcony, we're happy :) Thanks for watching!
Facts about the loudness. My wife an I get wrap around comps all the time. We’ve stayed on every side of the cosmo in each tower. I’d say the wrap around in the Boulevard Tower facing Chelsea. Quite, plus people watching is fun. I’ve seen some crazy shit on those balconies around 2 3am. 🤣🤣 The freaking Bellagio parking lot messes up the view as well in the Chelsea tower. An as expected the wrap around that’s front left of the cosmo, is an upgrade room. You get like just the actual fountain view without the parking deck and the north side of the trip, plus Paris an PH!! That’s the best view on the strip. Especially in the summer. It blocks out the pool party music that starts at 10’am. Cosmo is a frat hotel. We Just spent 2 weeks there on comps, I suggest for couples if you play slots or table to be 2 different cards. When we get the comp room offers, we call to book and upgrade at that time. It's usually $40-$50 per night to upgrade to the one bedroom fountain view room from the standard room comp they offer us. I think it's a great deal, especially when the offer has no resort fees.
