THANK YOU BRO!!! For those who are not believing or understanding... If you do it "normally" and match all of the colors, then video won't even show when fully plugged in! and with all matched, if you pull the tv-side plug about halfway out, you can see video but it will be distorted.. But if you do red-to-yellow & yellow-to-red, it works perfect!
First off, I did mix up the colors like you said, and I can hear the Wii but when it says nothing is plugged into it (even though it is) plus there’s a loud humming noise. Any suggestions? Thanks.
They should have came in the box when you bought the TV with the remote and the package! Lol at least mine came in there and had on the manual what you're supposed to use it for.
Oh and I found that a wii to hdmi converter also works if you guys don’t have the av cables the hdmi converter just plugs into the back of wii where the av cables went then just plug in your hdmi to your new tv but that’s if your missing your av cables and just got hdmi
Exactly! I couldn't even tell he was holding some kind of adapter. For people who really have no clue what they're doing, he should also show where the adapter plugs in on the back of the TV. It's overkill for most of us but being thorough is good. I mean he actually told us we need to plug in the Wii so...😂
I bought the correct chord, did the regular and the random method and neither of those worked😭💔💔💔 I had my wii saved up to the side for a while, excited to play again. Just will have to buy a brand new wii console💯 as long as i still have all my wii games and their progress is saved and good

We bought an adapter and new cords with the R/Y/W prongs with a small usb cord that plugs into the t.v. and have no results. There's a hdmi output slot where another cord can plug but my sis says we should not need it And all that's open on the tv itself is a av slot (our wii-u & ps4 are connected to this tv too) but only the Wii isn't connecting
It’s probably because that you put all of the cords in the same spot that their supposed to be. Put the cords in the wrong placement. For example: Put the red cord in the yellow one and put the yellow cord into the red one. Then you should put the white cord into the other white cord. Here’s how I explained it into the video: 1:30
Put The Red Cord In the Yellow cord and put the yellow cord into the red cord. After that, plug in the white cord as the same of the white cord. Then plug in the AV cord to your tv and I think you will be fine
So What Your Doing Wrong Is That You Have To Put The Red, Yellow, And White Wire In The Same Colors As The Other Side. And You Put It In And It Should Work. I Said, “When You Put The Colors Of The Wires In Randomly It Will Probably Work Or It Will Just Play The Wii Music” Thats What I Said In The Vid. Since In Didn’t Work For You, I Suggest That You Should Put In The Red, Yellow, And White Wires In The Same Color Ports As The Other Side.
So the av cable you put in the description says on Amazon In the second picture it says “it’s not compatible with tcl tv” why is that Note: if you click on your av cable description the swipe when you get to the Amazon on the second picture it has a list of tvs it’s not compatible with and one of them being the tcl tv but yet I watched this video an you showed it worked
@@Jackk1031 I seen the video. The mistake that you made was that you need to put the AV Cords in randomly. Put The cord in different places and don’t put them in the matching colors. Put the red cord in the yellow one, then plug the white cord into the white one. Then put the yellow cord into the red cord. After you do that, it will work.
