    One modification I can think of for you to make sure your stove set here can char the pizza tops more effiecntly is the addition of an external steel box charcoal ember holder on the top part of the cover. The box could hold hot embers which will provide heat coming from the top to melt the cheese and toast the pizza to make it crispy. It will make the stove be a more efficient oven. For safety purpose the box could have a slide cover so the coals won't fall out when you open the cover to check on your pizza.

Using it at 8 ft. by 8ft. deer blind that is insulated. I have to keep the door cracked for it to get enough air to burn, but that is very likely the wood I've used. Much better quality than I expected for the price. Now if I can just take it easy in the beginning it won't be 90 degrees in my blind. All in all it seems like a keeper.

    This is awesome... Only thing I might add, especially if u are a Prepper, would be some kind of option for the hot water tank which would allow steam to escape into the room. You could always leave the input value open, of course, but also have some upper component with holes drilled through and a solid lid over it, so u just slip the lid back, expose the holed- base, and let the steam through. Anyone who lives in sub-zero weather every year, as I do, can tell u (1) the more humid the air, the less heat u need, and (2) most contagious winter illnesses die in humidity and warmth, ie, these illnesses thrive in dry cold. Seems counterintuitive but it's the truth.
    Awesome job (...and it looms good, too!)

      I agree with the hole outlet idea. In fact, I would take it a step further and include two outlets. at different heights so that the steam can run through some kind of circulatory system that can be run around a room to provide environmental heating. The hot steam would flow through the higher outlet into a metal tube and after most of the heat has been dissipated on the tubes route around the room, the cooler condensed water could flow back into the reservoir through the lower height inlet hole.

    • @owensomers8572
      @owensomers8572 10 месяцев назад

      You won't be a prepper long if you use an outdoor grill to heat your residence. Also, the water vessel had an opening cut in it to add water, it essentially is a kettle, the builder never closed it off, because it wasn't necessary, and would have made it a pressure vessel.

      @@daniloestrada1756 , hello and thanks for the question. What I referred to is colloquially called 'metal flume fever' and a bunch of other names. Wikipedia has a page on it, which will provide more information; otherwise you can search for peer reviewed literature on the topic.
      My approach to minimising risk of metal poisoning is to related standards for guidance on material choices when planning a project, fabricating in a well ventilated space, and operation in a way that avoids build up of fumes where you are.
