Everyone exercises in thier own way.
While there are objectively better ways, sometimes people just don’t like them.
I made a resolution that I would do fitness to stay healthy, but I’m too anxious to go to a gym or run around a park, so I do Pilates at home instead.
It may not be as effective as a proper workout, but it works for me.
Side note, the Universe would have died if Mario didn’t lose weight. 😆

That thing Mario ate at 1:42 was a type of food from the game series of Splatoon, first time it was brought in was from Crusty Sean of the second game, some of the food will let you get more experience in game or more in game money to buy clothes, though now in Splatoon 3, you can only get Sheldon Licenses for the weapons.

In Calculus, infinity could mean any real number. He could weigh anything kg.
My theory is that Mario is actually lightweight, and the infinity sign was more than a joke; it means his weight is classified (nobody, not even SMG4's animators, are allowed to know it). And if we are putting the 4th wall in perspective, if Mario became overweight, his model would be impossible to animate (you know, it is hard to move something too heavy for you around, and even a computer cursor has limitations), so he is probably very lightweight, but he was almost to the limit where he would not be able to be animated because of his huge mass. If he can't be animated, he'll have to be removed somehow. And all characters are strictly required to limit themselves or else they will be removed (what the point of having something in your 3d animation that is impossible to animate and is not the background?). And Mario almost crossed it, meaning he pretty much dodged a huge bullet, and if he didn't stay fit, he would no longer be in the videos.
Just a joke theory, but sounds pretty reasonable for me. Plus I know cartoon logic is zero logic, and thereoms of math don't often apply in comedy animations.

Though I’m pretty sure it’s obvious that the infinity line is just a quick joke with little thought put into it besides “Infinite is impossibly large number” like it’s most commonly seen as. I doubt they put that much thought into it.

To be honest, I have been trying to lose weight for years, like I go to the gym every Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while I'm doing an exercise at the park on every Tuesdays and Fridays, so I can relate to this episode.
