My favorite part of this video is that everyone looks like they're genuinely having fun and enjoying themselves. David cracking up in the back made it just that much better, and Sam simply just looked happy to be there. There was so much of a good vibe going on here that it totally just re-wrote my mood and made it 20 times better.
And the fact they have talked about how bad this zoo thing was and like it looked like this was a time they looked like they enjoyed being there, ( the only reason they said it was bad because it was 72 days stirght hardly any breaks and it just sucked in a way David even threw out his back sadly

Meanwhile, Steve is off stage having a stroke. It's like I told two neighbor kids. They told me they are starting their own band (about 7 years old...too cute) And they said that they are trying to think of funny stupid stuff to do on stage. I told them they don't have to think up funny stupid stuff to do on stage....it just happens all by its self. lol
THIS. IS. PURE. GOLD. ... Oh, my gosh.... My heart hurts from both how happy this makes me, but also from the knowledge that... they... unless they have a reunion, this will never happen again...

So I really really wanted to see my new found favorite band. I love you guys. I'll miss The John, but sure that it is always going to be this good!
I think that it demonstrates their ability to perform so well. They've expressed numerous times that in this era: they were literally starving at points. They joke about their thinness, and it was because they continually maxed out their credit cards just for food. David once shared a story in their podcasts of Steve showing up with a bag full of canned food. They declined, but he forced it into their hands. It certainly feels care free to us. But for them, it was complete hell. I admire them for the fact that they moved on from this era.
