'Shake A Bone' is the third single and video from Albert Hammond's album "Body Of Work," released March 1st, 2024. Wedding a deceptively simple and slinky acoustic riff with some down-to-earth common-sense musing (“No other day was like the day ahead / No second chances when you’re cold and dead”), the track navigates the sonic terrain between Americana, alt-country, rock and pop. With a few contemporary flourishes sprinkled in (the album was recorded at legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin), the sum of its parts is pure Albert Hammond genius.
