Reality is always gonna be they DO make music like they used to. They just don't play it on the radio, cause the industry is, like any business, designed to make money: you can't get 40 yr old cynical blues artists to sign their royalties away like you can with 18yr olds who are desperate for recognition.
I absolutely love these guys!! I want to see them in concert!! I've always loved Van Morrison and when I heard Nathaniel Rateliff I was amazed!! Rock on & on & on!!!

Most times mates say "Hey Ive got this spare ticket....." I go along for the free night out. Never ever had someone offer me a spare ticket for a gig like this. I'd probably bite their arm off.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again! I could listen to this guy sing all day and all night, It'll never get old for me, his unique voice is amazing, reminds me of Solomon Burke and Sam Cooke.
I’m thinking Van Morrison and Sam Cooke . His vocals are off the charts good .

I figure the NightSweats was Nathaniel's last shot at the music industry before he packed it in for lack of popular support. So glad he gave it that shot, I like his solo folk stuff but I would never have found it without the NightSweats.

YES!! I put my name in a ticket lottery and I was able to purchase 2 tickets! Imagine my surprise when I received that phone call!!! They do a ticket lottery with some of the tickets so they are not all bought up by ticket re-sellers.
I think the sad bastard was camping out in my head when he penned these lyrics! This song especially and orhers are so real to me! Soooo looking forward to seeing them live in Madison.

Unfortunately he suffered a seizure while touring, so he's taken some time off from the road.
From what NR says, they're a big family so hopefully when Wesley gets better he'll start touring with them again
