    If I were still living in Scotland -- or anywhere in Western Europe, really, I'd join for the workshop. I love Edinburgh and the workshop sounds amazing.

    Hi Tom! Thanks for your classes and all material that you present for us. I really appreciate! This is a question from a beginner player. Is it possible to play this song with a C harmonica?

    • @TomlinHarmonica
      @TomlinHarmonica  7 лет назад

      Hi Daniel - I'm so glad you enjoy the lessons. You can play any of these songs on any key of harmonica. You won't be able to play along to the backing track though but you will be able to play unaccompanied. Hope that helps.

    Hello Mr. Teacher
    I see you are playing different harps
    Does it have a reason ?
    Or do you try different harps?
    Thanks for the video

    • @TomlinHarmonica
      @TomlinHarmonica  7 лет назад

      There isn't a real reason for the different harmonicas - it is just a question of what I have available :-)

    Listen to me PLEASE: I’ve been a harmonica player of some recognition since the 1970s. All you have to do is LISTEN to all the greats. Of course, “Checking up on My Baby” is done my ALex Rice Miller , who adopted the name Sonny Boy Williamson after the original died. This Alex is the famous guy. Just listen to one of your favorite cuts over and over and over again and each time, try and copy what you’re hearing . Then do the same thing with another artist. In time you will have your own style and you’ll be great !

    Bu the way: I’m not selling anything or want you you subscribe or give me a thumbs up. I’m telling you what is below because I really want you to learn . Forget all these online coaches with their draw, blow draw blow . do your own and you’ll be great . You’ll be copying and and copying the greats and all of a sudden , one day YOU will be the great player. It will just click in . Hahaha. It took me awhile to even figure out the cross harping . I didn’t know about it in the beginning. It was a fun journey and it will be for you too !
