Just a tip, if you're going to be doing a lot of awkward tail gate deliveries like this you can look into buying a 2nd pallet jack. You lower one pallet jack to the ground, go back up, use your 2nd pallet jack to drop the skid on the tail gate and drop it. Now you can lower the tail gate and not have to worry about the pallet jack not being completely on the plate. Use the one your lowered on the ground for the delivery and you're good to go.
Yea bro watching u upload was scary ,just a tip when uploading always try to turn pallet around then push out bro don't pull it out stay behind the pallet when coming out cause if it rolls u in front of it and u both going off the liftgate, and once u get on the liftgate turn the pallet sideways so u don't have to pull out the jack just turn it sideways, those long ones they should have a forklift for that but if not just do your best ,and make sure they pay u extra for uploading that stuff when they don't have forklift bro ,call the broker and get driver assis hope u got that done whenever u have to work like that bro ,anyway stay safe and keep going brother 👍
Thank you. Yeah it’s hard being a new driver working for a new company but I’m learned a lot in a short period of time. Thanks for helping another fellow driver out
Oh ok I thought that was your truck working for yourself, so the driver assist pay wouldn't apply i guess, but if they don't have a truck dock always see if they have a forklift before unloading yourself ,and always turn the whole pallet sideways and drop it ,jack and pallet should fit sideways so u don't have to pull out the jack and put it on the side bro ,anyway be safe 👍
hey bro, just started my trucking company last month and I learned that if u pull the pallet jack out, u can let the wheel of the pallet jack fall off the lift gate and it will wedge into place with the weight of the pallet so u don't have to keep taking off the pallet jack and so forth. It sounds crazy but I've gotten some heavy loads and it works everytime.
Thanks for that info bro. I make a video soon and mention that information in it. I wish you much success with your trucking company and welcome to the industry.
Bro, not criticizing you, but its much easier when off loading the pallet, to turn it to the side as you coming out, so nothing crazy happens. I was holding my breath watching you do that. Put that pallet stopper in the wood above the etrac to get out your way. But good job tho
Thanks for the tip I really appreciate that. Yeah it’s a pain in the butt unloading myself especially those double wide pallets it always nerve racking and hard to get on those small lift gates. The one I have now is even smaller.
Definitely easier if you turn it sideways and you can come straight back and let your front wheels roll off the edge it won’t slip off for sure. The pallet jack sit so low it will stop on the lift gate.
You made that tall wooden box WAY harder than it had to be. All you had to do was make sure first of all ya freight was all the way on your pallet forks, and then turn your pallet jack to the side on the lift gate
I hope you got paid a lot for touch freight and the had equipment to off load all of that and you would have to use your lift gate at all just move the palletized freight to the end of the truck and allow them to off load if they have the equipment
Here in America, Yaa have her smoke yer pole then drop a load in her box. In Mother Russia, Pole smoke YOU while you in box dropping load. Quoted 10:15

Thank you. That makes a lot of sense to do it that way.

Also it would have helped if they had their own pallet jack as well
You mean to tell me they had a payloader the whole time?!?!

@@idideleven I was saying the same thing
