We raised a baby common gull chick, back in 1986. We looked after it for 6 weeks until it eventually flew off an left us. It treated the whole garden as the nest territory and wouldn't allow any other gulls or large birds into it, attacking any who tried. It loved it when somebody was doing gardening, especially digging, as it meant free bugs & worms.
I’m doing the same with a baby gull this is my 3rd now, mine is just starting to fly. Iv made a few videos on it & more people should help beautiful Animals like theses.
Hello. Your video is wonderful. A lot of tenderness, softness, kindness irradiates from it. Did you ever pet/touch or did you prefer to not touch him? What happened when he/she flew away? He never come back? Hope that guy is still alive and made a family on his own. Thank you a lot for that very sweet images. Back in 1988 something like that, I raised a blackbird. It was tamed and once able to fly, the night he would leave on his own into the trees and next morning we would call him, he would answer back and flew to our shoulders and we spent the rest of the day together, until the night. Quite an experience. Thanks again. :)
This video among the seagulls is beautiful ... I live in a seaside city in Italy Rimini and the seagull is the one who also represents me in my logo ... I love seagulls. congratulations for your video.😉🦤
I just found a new born seagull in the road being attacked with no mum in site being attacked by crows I took it home I game as much water as I could and dog food please could you help
If hand reared in the right way then animals can be realised into the wild with much more success. The key is to not getting to close to them and not to treat them like pets. You don’t want them tame towards humans
@@mothballjim I don't have alot of choice with mine its unfit for release muscle damage from a car hit on the wrist joint .He can straighten it out now but left with a good inch wing drop but loads better than before.
Hi I've just picked one up same size as this with a brbroken wing people just looked at it poking it with there feet.do you just feed it dog food. Thanks in advance
You need to fold the wing back up to it's non flight position and then gently wrap cause around bird so wing can heal. With any luck the bird might be ok

Thanks for watching Gabby
Wow I bet it never ate so fabulously again in its life, must’ve told all its friends about his adventures when he left home
So true 😂
Nice birdie.
How long after this did he fly?
Good question. I can’t remember exactly now but didn’t take long. Just a few weeks
I love it I gave it a thumbs up👍
Thank you
Build a mini beach
He’s gone now but nice idea!
Ich liebe Möwen.💖💖💖💖
,,Deutsch,,
Wondering if he knows , his future will be eating literally everything
😂
Steven approves.❤
Oh so cutieee 🥰
*FLOOFY BOI* 😍😍😍
Has it becomes an adult now? Would he/she still come back to your house?
No he never returned as I didn’t let him get to tame
How often does he eat? I’ve just found one and he likes sardines, indeed. But how often shoud I feed him?
As much as he wants at that age. I’d say at least 4-5 times a day
Little and often
Exactly 4 times he ate today! And he enjoyes his little pool as well! It was a good inspiration
@@LuchianCiobanu I'd love to see a video!

do they ever come back to visit
No as I let it get wild and not to tame

Where do you live?
So did it fly away or stay with you very big chance of getting killed hand reared from a baby

Hello, well done for picking it up! If it’s wing is broken it’s going to need medical attention first so take it to your local vets
@@mothballjim Yeah and there put it straight down like the owl I took in
Some times that’s the only option as with a broken wing it can never be released back in to the wild again as it won’t survive

Gause . not cause , stupid auto assume on phone

Piccolo gabbiano
he just loves his big bath .check out my seagull friend gus on my channel .
I put gold fish in a little pool for my seagull ...he wasted no time catching them
You aren't teaching the bird either of those things, it is in their nature, they learn it by instinct, damn I'm so tired of the word "teach".
