Dude same. Bit of a story, a long time ago when I was a line cook and we would listen to music, I would always have classic 70s rock playing on shuffle. One day in the middle of a butt rush, Simple Man came on and I yelled "I hate Lerynrd Skeeenyrrrd!!!" And changed the song. Here we are several years later and I can say without a doubt that Skynyrd is one of my favorite bands and southern rock as a whole is my shit now. I've been playing for about 10 years now and this genre of music is probably what I'll try to perform first.

This is my favorite Lynyrd Skynyrd, because of the way they bend the strings. Obviously, they are doing things that you are not covering. When they go in to the chorus, "I know who you are. I know what they call you girl." There is a lot more bending and twanging.

I am no expert but I think you are getting close if you put in something arround: Amp Type: Lead Gain: 20 Volume: Whatever fits you Bass: 75 Middle: 100 Treble: 100 And maybe some delay with really short delay timing if you feel like it. You probably want to adjust some things here and there depending on the pick ups you're using etc. Maybe this helps you, maybe it doesn't, I don't know...
The full band wasn't around long, but man they were an absolute monster of a band. Too much tragedy.
