I think Ant is getting sick of playing with Rudy. His body language and court presence with remind me of when Donovan Mitchell was stuck with Rudy in Utah.
I never said make a trade for Spyda. I said I think Ant isn’t enjoying playing with an offensive liability. He is getting frustrated with his lack of offense and perimeter defense like Spyda did. In no way do I want Ant leaving here.
Last year Phil had Jaden as the Kaiwi Leonard, now he is talks like he is an awful player.... Our defense will significantly decline without him. Julius and Ant together disrupt any offensive flow. I'm biased in favor of Jaden, but think Jaden's offense improves if included more in flow offense.
Jaden McDaniels inconsistent offense hurts this team more than people realize. Trade him for a wing that can consistently make defenses pay from behind the arc.
Jaden is the only rotation player with a negative +/- on the wolves, hes been terrible, his defense is overrated, and hes a terrible rebounder for his height. I always thought he would figure it out eventually, but he just never has

Wolves need to trade jaden. Josh Minot can do everything jaden does for far cheaper plus Minot actually rebounds the ball. That jaden contract was a huge mistake.
Very entertaining team to watch. Funny how the media gets up in arms when a trade doesn't work out instantly. Hearing rumors the Knicks after their great start, are possibly feeling fatigue.
Gobert trade was deemed a success if we won a championship in his 3 year contract window. It was never meant to go beyond that window. Now we have an aging center. Would have been better keeping KAT and letting Gobert and Conley original contracts to run out. We would have KAT & Ant for the future with a bunch of young talent behind them. Thats where we should be right now!
That's what I expected us to do, and it made so much sense. So what we would've been in the luxury tax. By the time Gobert's original contract would've ended, we would've been out of it. Plus it would've made Gobert more tradeable because of an expiring contract if they were afraid to lose Naz.
Randle got to go if anyone knows Basketball and watch the game last night. I don't understand why they kept going to Randle when you have ANT and others. I said it and say it again, he is not a player that make you win but he makes all the move that cost you the games and last night is the very best example of it. Last night game I am personally blame Randle for the lost
I liked that basically the end of the fourth randle didn't play if at all so maybe they learned that naz is the guy it's one game but it was nice to see
Only thing I can think of as too why they'd keep going to him is too try and up his trade value, but at this rate it's just showing teams why they shouldnt
@@scubaj991His trade value is what it is. Unless he gets injured, it isn’t changing. People know what to expect from Randle in terms of play: bad defense, heavy isolation offense, which isn’t always successful, to say the least. More than anything teams will know his contract expires next season, unless he doesn’t pickup his player option; in that case, it expires at the end of this season. That is his greatest value-his contract will be expiring, at the latest summer 2026.
When talking about trading the Detroit pick, don't forget we have Utah's 2nd round pick which if the season ended today would be the 35th pick. A high 2nd round pick in a strong draft has value as well.

Agree, lot of people forgot Any was hurt since game 6 against Denver falling on his back and laying on the ground for a significant amount of time SKOR north ran the stats for Ant before the fall and after and it was night and day difference. Also, we had a bum coaching staff after the leg injury.
Connelly has to take a loss on Randle. Finch has to play the young players. What good does it do if you draft them and don't trust their talents. MN drafts destroy G league.
Last night showed the offensive isn't the problem when they scored 100 points in the 3 quarter's 🤷🏾♂️ Rudy is the problem. When your best asset is declining then your minutes should too. Time to cut Rudy's minutes, trade Randle start Naz and have Naw your sixth man. I would like to trade for the bulls center but his money doesn't match up with randle.
Wolves cannot aggregate players in trade. So that trade is irrelevant. I actually emailed that website days ago about what scrubs they are for not knowing the league trading rules.
Is it possible what happens with Julius will tell us how the ownership situation goes. The Julius situation is a time bomb that TC might just leave in the house on his way out if Glen gets that team back.
Ant didn't go rougue that 6 second play, he threw the ball way to far causing randle to go to the 3 Pt line instead of FT line so he wasn't to pass to Mike, Ant already knew the play was crashed so he tried to somewhat fix it
10:40 this take is so bad I cannot believe it. Even if the Wolves don’t trade Randle, and Randle opts in, that doesn’t mean we cannot start Naz. Professional sports are about wins and losses. Just because Randle won’t like coming off the bench, doesn’t mean you don’t pull that trigger to unlock Naz and drive winning. Also, tax is not paid until the end of the season. You can sign both Naz and NAW, and trade Randle as an expiring in 25/26 with zero issues. You could also sign NAW with the intention of trading him at 12-15 instead of 4.3. Now he becomes what Josh Okogie was for the Suns this year. Randle should be moved, and we do need another guard because Dilly isn’t ready yet, and Mike is regressing to the point we don’t want him in the playoffs. But you don’t NEED to move Randle to save Naz and NAW in Minnesota going forward.
Randle for Wizards Brogdon and Valanciunas. Both on one year contracts, both solve our needs as a PG and Rebounder, both provide Veteran leadership. Wizards get Poole and Randle, who says no?
I have season tickets and I have been selling most of my tickets. I haven’t been to a game in over a month, if the wolves traded Randle and said “we’re taking a step back to take two steps forward” I’d start going to game again. I’m honestly done with this current team they need to make a move
They need to keep Mike Conley around. You need to keep, good professional influences around him. They still need to play Rob Dilly and the young boys more. If you send out Randle, it should unlock some open minutes at the forward positions.
Don’t worry …POSITIVE PTSD is here to tell you everything is GREAT!!! 👍 Rudy’s rebounding is better than ever!! Ant’s more mature than ever !!! Things are looking up , Shill Lackey. 👌
I think there are plenty that agree that wolves needed to trade KAT. The problem is who they got for him. DDV is great but I think there were better options. Randle is just not a good fit at all on this team and it still puts them at risk of losing Naz and NAW. They really didn't solve their problem and now have to find someone to take Randle before the deadline.
Phil just sounds clueless right now. Dante is NOT that good. He is only good at 3s, sometimes. Him and Randle have hurt this team defensively and the offensive chemistry. Talking about trading Jaden is clueless. I would trade every player on this team, fire Finch and Connelly rather than trading Jaden or Ant. These two are 1A and 1B. Randle and Donte have hurt Jaden, NAW and Naz. I want to see more Minot and Garza. I would move Randle and Dante asap and get Rob, Minot and Garza heavily involved. And I'm all for firing Finch. He's not a good in-game coach. He's an assistant coach at best. People in Minnesota may like him because he's a good talking older white guy with nice hair but his decision-making costs this team MANY games. His offensive philosophy and feel for the game are atrocious. He doesn't hold players accountable and doesn't take ownership of the same issues we've had during his entire time here. Ant needs a real coach, not an over-rated assistant.
The best Mr Kyle got is “McDaniels is playing better, I notice he said nothing about Randle. Look get rid of Randle and re-stabilize this team he has been a cancer on Ant’s growth. I don’t know what yall see in McDaniels who fouls out most games or have to ride the bench because of his inability to stay out of foul trouble. Does Kyle any solutions in how to unstick this floundering team other than let’s just stay stuck!
If Randle isn’t traded and we lose Naz and NAW because he accepts his player option I don’t think I could ever watch this team again lol. Also I’m so tired of Finch not playing the young guys, pretending like this is a championship team.
Kyle has a good point about Rudy n Mike regressing anyway. Even if KAT stayed and it's still not a great situation. ***I'm not ready to say Rudy's regressed I think he's just in a slump.
Two guys held the offense together last year. Slo Mo is gone and Minnesota Mike is unfortunately showing his age this year. Don’t forget how much Slo Mo is missed from this team compared to last year.
Am I the only one not concerned about Julius? If the team makes it crystal clear that they don’t want him here is he really gonna accept the player option? Idk if I’m him im going somewhere where Im wanted
I am confused. So is Ant the only player in the league that will leave a team cause his pals, his buddies are being traded away? If so, why? Nah. Ya'll are just thinking in homeristic fashion. Make the trades that help this team. IF, Ant asks out cause of that, then trade him and get a haul. I honestly don't care anymore. These nancy takes are cringey and just casual.
Crazy how many Wolves fans took the KAT trade personally but also have no idea how the 2nd apron works. Also crazy how many Wolves fans think you can just sit your 3rd highest paid player and think it won’t affect the locker room. If the locker room completely fractures, we won’t be watching a .500 team, it will be a bottom of the west team. If you keep Julius in the fold, it keeps his trade value up and gives you the chance he buys in at some point.
Crazy how you have no idea how the 2nd apron works when you factor in the Rudy trade, his initial contract and overpaying Jaden. THAT'S WHY KAT GOT TRADED! I'm sick of you know nothing know it alls😂🤣🤦🏾♂️
2nd apron didn’t take effect until after the Rudy trade… so the front office didn’t know they would have to salary cut until after Rudy was on the team. Sure, Jaden looks like an overpay but the general consensus around the league was that him and Naz both took team friendly deals. Both could have gotten more money leaving the Wolves. If the Wolves had Ant and Kat on the same team this year, they would take up 65% of the salary cap, next year that number would go up even higher. You can argue they should have traded Rudy. But if they trade Rudy, they don’t get DDV back who is one of the best value contracts in the NBA! They are stuck on Rudy and it sucks but he also was DPOY last year and helped lead the Wolves to one of their best seasons ins team history. Kat is one of the most expensive players in the nba and he is injury prone…
@@gotkickz13 You just made my point about Rudy!🤦🏾♂️ The organization knew when they traded for Rudy that eventually they'd have to salary cut. That's common sense. It's sad because Dillingham almost brought them a comeback before his injury bringing a spark off the bench. They need to give TSJ a shot as well when they need offensive spark.
Dillingham should NOT be playing this season. Dillingham's body is NOT NBA ready. Stop talking about this 19 year old CHILD as being a contributing factor untill late next season
I understand his body not ready but he needs some mins like 5 a game he needs the mental reps and to work his game not too much. You can only really know a guy and his flaws by seeing him play in real games

@@swen6797 KAT took Ant under his wing his first few years in the league. Their final year together probably consisted of less mentorship and more partnership, but Karl was still in his ear on the floor
I'm pretty sure these guys had the Wolves as championship contenders immediately after the Kat trade🤔
I was hoping they’d be, but I didn’t anticipate the regression from Rudy, Jaden and Conley. But I did know Finch was a terrible and stubborn coach who would be unwilling to make the necessary changes
@ That's understandable. But the hosts and some of these "followers" won't take that kind of accountability. They just pivot from one bad take to another in order to sweep them under the rug. Like what Connelly did after trading for Rudy and having to trade Kat as a result.
@@1WhoSeesAll - I never wanted the Rudy trade, and I always said it was an overpay. The wolves overachieved last season, they would be struggling this season even if they didnt trade KAT. I always wanted the wolves to trade KAT before the Rudy trade, and immediately start the rebuild around Ant, Naz and Jaden - I may have been wrong about Jaden bc hes just not showing any improvement for 4 years now. Now bc of the Rudy trade the team will be stuck in mediocrity
@@nydibs I hate to break it to you all but Naz is not the answer. In all reality he really did not deserve 6th man last year. He's great at his role and that's about it! If you think you'll get 20 and 10 out of Naz like you got from Kat before the Rudy trade.. you'll see🤷🏾♂️
@1WgoSeesAll - Naz averaged 17.6 and 7 rebounds as a starter last season, he doesn’t have to give you 20 & 10. He costs 1/3 what KAT does and gets the job done, same maybe better defense while spacing the floor for Ant which is the most important part

looking forward to the day Julius Randle becomes eligible for Random Wolf of the Week

@@scubaj991His trade value is what it is. Unless he gets injured, it isn’t changing. People know what to expect from Randle in terms of play: bad defense, heavy isolation offense, which isn’t always successful, to say the least.

Connelly has to take a loss on Randle. Finch has to play the young players. What good does it do if you draft them and don't trust their talents. MN drafts destroy G league.
No joke, I had it on the heat check. The only time I questioned if I was wrong was about who technically drafted him.

Finch definitely should get blame for NOT playing the youth enough for Ants years 26 and 27 age.
Ant didn't go rougue that 6 second play, he threw the ball way to far causing randle to go to the 3 Pt line instead of FT line so he wasn't to pass to Mike, Ant already knew the play was crashed so he tried to somewhat fix it
This reminds me of old Wild talk about keeping Matt Dumba
TRADE RANDALL NOW DAMMIT NOW !!!!!
Who wins a playoff series first, the wolves or pistons?
I did this trade last night on the trade machine
However how about this.. kisper, bey and holmes for Julius and that first rounder??

Trade Randle.
They need to keep Mike Conley around. You need to keep, good professional influences around him. They still need to play Rob Dilly and the young boys more. If you send out Randle, it should unlock some open minutes at the forward positions.

This show has become unlistenable
This might have been the worse thing i ever sat thru...too much emotion and not enough basketball
Ant needs a real coach, not an over-rated assistant.
this duo rocks. even if the wolves currently suck
If they trade Jaden I’ll be pretty ticked off cause I think we use him wrong and that he’ll be a stud wherever he goes.
Fans will be a little bit more at ease if Randle gets traded. The fear of losing Naz and the horrible play has made all the fans on edge.

Am I the only one not concerned about Julius? If the team makes it crystal clear that they don’t want him here is he really gonna accept the player option? Idk if I’m him im going somewhere where Im wanted

That would certainly be preferable to the disaster of him accepting the option.

Why would the blazers want Gobert though? That’s the tricky part. There are only certain teams that can use him.
I’m not sure if most Wolves fans are just stupid about how an NBA team contends because like Detroit Lions fans they have only been relevant 3 of the last 30 seasons, or if they can’t get over the FACT that the Wolves would not be able to win a championship with KAT at his current age/contract or they don’t care about winning a championship, but either way the franchise is moving forward to try and win a championship.
