      The apostle John said the, "you need not that any man teach you." All you have to do is read it and study it yourself and the Holy Ghost will lead you into all truth. When instead you rely on others to decode things for you... "2Ti_4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;"

      Because Jesus arose from the grave on Sunday, most Christians consider Sunday the Lord's day. But Idk which is actually correct.

    • @satrinarlord7715
      @satrinarlord7715 3 месяца назад

      @susan....There is a clear distinction between the Sabbath and the Lord's Day. In the Torah (the first 5 books of the Old Testament, also called the Book of the Law), God designated the Sabbath as a day of "rest" for the nation of Israel. The Sabbath is on Saturday (actually beginning sunset Friday and ending sunset Saturday). Orthodox Jews still observe and keep the Sabbath as instructed in the Torah.
      The Lord's Day is Sunday. It was "established" in the New Testament and was called the Lord's Day because it was the day Jesus Christ our Lord arose from the dead. Jesus's resurrection on early Sunday morning gave birth to the Church and to recognizing Sunday as the Lord's Day.
      In the Old Testament, under the old covenant, obeying the Law and the sacrificial system was how the Jews "earned" their salvation, remained obedient to God. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ fulfilled the Law and gave Himself once and for all as the perfect sacrifice. There is no longer any need to observe or engae in legalistic practices (including making sacrifices and observing the Sabbath) because there is now only one way to God, and that is through a belief in Jesus Christ as the risen Son of God. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through the Son."

    When you referred to Matt 18:20, “where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
    Can you please clarify, I thought Matthew 18:20 was in reference to church discipline/confrontation, since we know God is with even a single believer😊

    My brother and sister-in-law have gotten indoctrinated into the SDA church and continue to focus on the Sabbath Day worship as necessary for salvation as it is the 4th commandment. I try to avoid any discussion about it because I know I will never be able to change their minds and it is causing division in our relationship. How can I respond in love as we do not agree on end time prophesy as well. My heart is grieved because our relationship has become so divided to the point I don't feel I can communicate with them except on a superficial basis. 😢

    • @satrinarlord7715
      @satrinarlord7715 3 месяца назад

      @teresa...I used to belong to a church like that. It was oppressive, and it was exhausting trying to earn and keep my salvation by my own strength and not "backslide." . Churches that teach salvation through your effort and adherence to legalistic practices are a classic example of condemnation and works because they reject clear teaching: salvation is by grace (not works). You can "work" because you love the Lord and appreciate His free gift of salvation. But it is not Biblical to work as a motive for earning salvation.
      There is a clear distinction between the Sabbath and the Lord's Day. In the Torah (the first 5 books of the Old Testament, also called the Book of the Law), God designated the Sabbath as a day of "rest" for the nation of Israel. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through the Son." Scripture also says "You are saved by grace, not by works..."). You can never be good enough or do enough to earn your way into heaven. Trying to do so is essentially telling Jesus that His death and resurrection was useless and a waste of time. It is saying to Jesus, "No thanks, I will do this on my own strength. I don't need the free gift of your amazing grace as offered through your sacrificial and painful death. I can earn my own way to heaven by my own effort and works."

    Is the Rapture mentioned as such in the Bible. Is it not also true that this doctrine is Darby/Schofield in origin. Can there be 2 second comings as they taught. Surely Christ said he will come again ie once. Surely he is not having an interim stop between heaven and earth where the believers will be suspended before he comes a third time?

    • @misskj7773
      @misskj7773 10 месяцев назад

      Really? Two separate events, completely. Paul describes and shows us the event of The Rapture of The Church. Equally, the newly raptured Church is clearly shown inside of the throne room of God (in Revelation 4:4; 4:10 and 5:9-10(KJV), prior to the opening of the first seal in Revelation 6:1-2/revealing of the antichrist/onset of the tribulation.

      Because Jesus Christ rose from the dead early Sunday morning. That is why Sunday is called the Lord's Day. The Sabbath (Saturday), established by the Old Testament Law, is not the same as the Lord's Day (Sunday), the day Jesus resurrected. Law versus Grace.

      If you check, it was Friday when the Lord was lead in the tomb and the women who tended to him had to leave before sunset as they would breaking the Sabbath rules. No-one came to the tomb on the Saturday but Mary came on the following g day and saw the stone had been rolled away and our Lord was risen. This is why Sunday is the Lord's day

    Think Jewish Pastor Gary,The Lord’s day is not Sunday but Friday evening at sundown to Saturday evening at sundown.

      The Sabbath is not the same as the Lord's Day. The Sabbath is as you say. It was first established because God rested from His work on Day 7 (which begins on Friday Sunset). The Sabbath is Old Testament Law and is still practiced by the Jews. However, the Lord Jesus Christ rose on the first day of the week (Sunday). The cornerstone of Christianity (the resurrection event) is why Christians (not Jews) celebrate Sunday as the Lord's Day -- again, not the same as the Sabbath. Jews are still under the Law. Christians are under Grace.

    Revelation chapters two and three do not support the idea of the "so called" church age.
    For example:
    #1) Church in Ephesus 53 - 100 AD Apostolic Church age
    #2) Church in Smyrna 100 - 312 AD Martyr Church age
    If the Church in Smyrna represents the "Martyr Church Age", how is it that all the Apostles were martyred during the "Apostolic Church Age"?
    Years the Apostles were martyred
    James 44-45 AD
    Peter 64 AD
    Andrew 70 AD
    Thomas 70 AD
    Philip 54 AD
    Matthew 60-70 AD
    Nathanael 70 AD
    James the lesser 44-45 AD
    Simon, the Zealot 74 AD
    Judas Thaddeus 72 AD
    John 95 AD
    Matthias 70 AD
    Paul 67 AD
    The Holy Scriptures do not support the idea of "Church Ages".

    I like his humour and style of delivery - however I don't agree with him that Sunday is the LORD'S Day. The Bible is replete with verses proving that the LORD'S Day is the Sabbath / Saturday. There is not a single verse in the Bible that points to Sunday ... Could someone out there prove from Scripture that Sunday is the LORD'S Day. Thanks....

    The leasns you teach is very Biblical but I have a question?Exodus 20 (KJV)
    ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
    ³ Thou shalt have no gods before me.
    ⁴ Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

      How is this in any relation to what's in Revelation if you don't mind me asking?
      - It's God's spirit which Mary had when Jesus was born, not like us out of Intercourse.
      - Jesus and father are one
      - There's no graven image in the Revelation but symbolic expression
      Please spend time reading the Bible with the Help of the Holy Spirit.!!!

      Really? That is unfortunate for you, that you turned off the truth of God’s Word. This spiritually awake and anointed pastor is speaking biblical truth. He is speaking of those who are truly THE born again, spirit-filled, faithful, watching and waiting Church…The Church of Philadelphia. The scriptural proof? Revelation 3:10 proves this for The Church of Philadelphia…only.

      @@WARTV-dn5fk Oh, really? Let’s look at Jesus’ own actions, where women were concerned. Jesus, Himself, knew the strength, power and resilience of believing women. He entrusted Mary Magdalene (not a man) as THE messenger to relay the news of His resurrection TO the disciples (men).
      Mary Magdalene was the first person to see Jesus after he had risen, and the first he entrusted with the message of his Resurrection-even though Jesus, for certain, knew the Jewish culture considered a woman’s word and testimony worthless. Jesus was showing otherwise! After all, John did make sure to point out that in running to the tomb that he beat Peter there, and admitted his surprise that the tomb was empty, but he leaves the credit with Mary as the first person to whom the angels appear at the tomb and the first person to speak with the risen Christ. As a man, John’s testimony would have been more accepted-and the disciples for sure wanted the fact of the Resurrection to be accepted. But Jesus had shown in his actions that women were a part of his ministry and John seems to have honored that.

      @@dlkoehler5 You will note: it is now from your initial query 6 months later… and you have yet to receive his reply. Why? There is NO scripture debunking this pastor’s message of biblical truth regarding THE truth of the pre-tribulation rapture of The Church.
