This gives me 'A Space for the Unbound' vibes. Could be that I just don't play a lot of visual novels, but the graphics as well as your description of the few mini games are spot on. Plus I ugly cried at that one as well 😅
A different review on something from your culture is always good weather that's story or history within a game, you mentioned supernatural tones within the story sounds interesting, a recommendation with supernatural tones have you played 'Re: Turn' - on way trip and there's a second game as well 'Re: Turn' 2 -runaway. Two short games really good story and characters
Im with you on this one tbh. The games mystery and revelations were not too good. Nothing to the extent of satisfaction from series like zero escape or other mystery visual novels. And yup, the same themes over and over just felt like fluff a bit. They kinda beat a dead horse a bit as it went on. Especially the exposition dump at the end between mark and nicole. I enjoyed it regardless, couldve been better written and needed better pacing. Id give it a solid 7/10.
one thing this game doesn't really tell you is that it has more of it after you finish the first 5 chapters... if you bought the game.. you could continue it and there you gonna get more on the story (don't worry its not a repeat of the first play) you will get the source of those mysterious happenings.. a CANON bad and True Ending. :3 and will wait for your review again ^^
Thanks for your comment! I actually played through the whole game for the review, so I played through it 3 times and earned the butterfly achievement on Steam. I was referring to the repetition in the second and third part of the game in my review video
@@Nekotomic ahh gotcha.. I guess it was on purpose..the concept of the game but I get what u mean.. ^^ they did cut some moment to save time.. but it is kinda repetitive with some like mark and his mom's flashbacks

Yeah, exactly! But I think Zero Escape gives such high standards for mystery visual novels, especially Virtues Last Reward. That game was amazing
