    Digging the competitive Standard content!
    I question losing Ghost Vacuum since it’s not just grave hate. It’s a mana sink that lets you buy back all your and your opponents creatures in the mirror since post board games are typically slower less swing-y.

    • @CoreyBMTG
      @CoreyBMTG  Месяц назад

      Disagree. Vacuum seems terrible to me in the mirror and this deck has no shortage of mana syncs.

    I personally like 1x fountainport maindeck and 1 less sanctuary ... Keep up with the good work! Hi from italy!

      @CoreyBMTG  Месяц назад +1

      I’m closer to 4 sanctuary to be honest haha. That card slaps!

      Not great as its really hard to facilitate. Powerful card of course though.

    11:20 am i missing something? why not just activate restless reef and attack for 8 here? Loving the dimir tempo content btw 🙏

      Very good point haha. Could have just won with that for sure. 😅

    have you guys tried a couple of Plumecreed Escorts? Has been an amazing tempo play, protecting our dudes and accelerating the race. Also having more flyers has been insanely good, being able to turn lost games into races in the air has been clutch for me. I've just added the 1 gix command to the main, it's been sooooo good.

    Corey did you figure out a good sideboard plan against domain? I have a store Championship tomorrow and this is my scariest matchup

    • @CoreyBMTG
      @CoreyBMTG  Месяц назад

      I sure did! I have a full sideboard guide and article in my Patreon in the description below if you are interested! Hope you crush it!

    Get Lost is not that great against dimir is it? We can really use those maps.
    Noticed Deep Cavern Bats are gone in this version. Is this because they are bad vs removal? and also not good to ninjitsu with?

    • @nicholasbailey6236
      @nicholasbailey6236 Месяц назад +2

      My theory is that the floodpits are simply better in that 2-mana slot. The bats are a nonbo w/ kaito whereas ninjitsuing the drowners gives you another chance to stun a creature while kaito pounds away. Those stun counters are amazing vs a Screaming Nemesis or demon.

    • @CoreyBMTG
      @CoreyBMTG  Месяц назад +2

      I think it’s just a bad card in general. The other options are so much better in our deck!

    • @BrotherHisham88
      @BrotherHisham88 Месяц назад +1

      From other meta reports I’ve seen, they’ve been replaced with the Floodpit Drowners, which absolutely obliterate so much of the meta and play better into your game plan. I’m also not sure how Bats perform into the Red decks.

      @@nicholasbailey6236 ALL these comments make sense! i'm off the bats and onto the Drowners.

    Deck looks pretty solid! Although dimir did end up winning Worlds, they were making the point that it was worse against golgari because they have lots of removal and better creatures on average than in blue. I wonder if that actually plays out. I also wonder how this stacks up to UW Flash. Is Kaito and the black removal better than the additional flash threats and better sideboard options you get out of white?

    • @CoreyBMTG
      @CoreyBMTG  Месяц назад +1

      That dimir list was much differant then the lists we see today. The bs demon cards were just not very good in the deck after that event.

    • @CoreyBMTG
      @CoreyBMTG  Месяц назад +1

      Also, stay tuned to tomorrow if you are interested in UW ;) As I had the same thought as you thinking UW could be great.

    • @CoreyBMTG

      I did try it but I didn’t love it against anything but the mirror. But I didn’t get to test it a ton tbh so I could be wrong on that.

  • @lufiay9269

    I think vs domain u might wanna keep 4gft and 2 cut down which conveniently hits zur. Maybe less removal otp but otd I surely wouldnt wanna autolose to zur
    Especially post board when they add more cheap answers for your threats and the game slows down

    • @CoreyBMTG
      @CoreyBMTG  Месяц назад +1

      I agree with some removal but I think 6 is far too many. I also think Blot out is better then all those removal spells but sad I only had one in this list.
