Hi - I just bought a used Panasonic AU EVA1 that will use as A camera. I am using Sony A7S III as B camera. What is the best way to shoot in camera to match both cameras in post? How would you work if any other way possible?
The GH5 footage looks as good as the EVA 1 footage. I saw this film today in a NYC screening. It looked very nice but I think the GH5 would look as good on the big screen.
I'm more interested in seeing the interiors. Sick of companies just shooting sweeping landscapes at magic hour and acting like the camera is what makes nature look so good.
A shortcoming of the EVA1 is that it does not show: 1) Battery life in terms of minutes remaining (and in 1 minute increments), 2) It does not show the focal length of the lens on the overlays.
what bag did they use for the underwater shot?
I like this camera. Use of SDXC of cards, its overall dimensions can make it an irreplaceable thing in difficult operating conditions.

eva1 clips shown are way more cinematic(more DR) and better colors
Was this recorded internally in the EVA1 or at a higher bit rate in the Atomos?
everything is shot with GH5 except the split screen and other clips that have a watermark saying... "Shot on EVA 1"... for example 3:19...
Oh that explains what shot on EVA1 means. Thanks for letting me know that when it said shot on EVA it means it was shot on eva1

the ISO 2500 shot looks awful on the camera, very disappointing..
so cheasy, the outcome could have been mesmerising, but ....
who cares about the BTS, where is the actual film?
Not film, but shot on video cards. 1's and 0's!
