I listen to both Nightwish and Tarja. I don't consider myself a neo-nightwish fan because I listen to them since I was 15. But clearly this rival between the so called nightwish fans and the so called tarja fans is really stupid. I consider myself lucky for listening to both Tarja's music and Tuoma's.
This song could use a really wild performance, I would like to see it done that way. Still don't dig how the "in for a kill" is sung in the song. And there's couple of times she goes into suffering voice which I think sound bad, but less so than in the Act 1 performance. But otherwise it's very nice. Yeah, I liked this performance, but still wanting a wild one.
I don't listen to Nightwish with Annete, it's just not good for me, but I can listen again if they keep Floor in the band. And of course I listen to tarja a lot! And I love her!
Just everyone remember that "best" and "greatest" in music or other art is subjective; what one person thinks is best another may not, and there is no measure except how much we like the music. I like her style, precision and expression, and she's my favorite female singer. That's my subjective opinion. There are a lot of talented singers, but people like what they like.
She & this band need to come to the U.S. and give pop music, the media, & the conceited music industry a severe enema!!! Long live more great DVD's like this.

I'm not at all interested in the new Nightwish album. I bought the last, and maybe listened to it twice. I listen to Tarja's albums almost daily.

No she is not. She is an amazing singer, and certainly one of my favorite sopranos, but calling her the "greatest of our time" is a bit of a stretch.
