It's wonderful to hear India is building nuclear power plants. Hopefully they can decommision several of their older generation cola powered plants.

We are the only cop 26 nation who reached our target on Paris climate action.we want to make nuclear power plants from long time but we are not member of nuclear supply group so we can't buy uranium in open market which leaves us with only two options Kazakhstan and russia . russia literally controls Kazakhstan yup coal mining will be shut but it's not that easy because it provides lot of employment compared to nuclear power plants we must show alternatives to them as well

It is going to take time to transition from coal to nuclear because of a few blockers that come in the way… China blocked India’s application to join the Nuclear Suppliers Group, which is not helpful. But in the meantime in just 5 years the installed based of Renewable generation has increased 10x from 5 to 50GW. In the next 5-10 years they aim to have 500GW or about 50% of generation capacity based on renewables. Coal will have to increase in the next decade, but the quicker nuclear comes in, the less reliant on coal we will become.
