What a fun video. I really enjoy the two of you. The quilts were beautiful and the stories were fun. I also enjoyed reading the Valentine's stories in the comments.
My husband and I had married 64 years ago just a about 2 weeks before Valentines day. He got me a TOASTER. We had not gotten one as a gift and needed one. I will never forget that first gift. Thereafter I never expected anything as I would usually get whatever I needed.
My Valentine story. About 10 years ago I was working at one of our schools as a para with the special needs kids. My husband (whose 11 months younger with salt and pepper beard), brought me flowers to show up the other husbands. The girl I was working with said, “Mrs. P, is that your father?”. Boy did that backfire on him!
When my husband and I first started dating I received flowers or candy, but after we got married I told him not to get me anything because I was going to buy a new sewing machine or I’m going to the fabric store. So for 45 years he hasn’t had to worry about what he was going to get me. I have enjoyed doing that each year. Good job girls. Stay safe
My husband bought me a large heart box of candy for our first Valentine’s Day. The only catch is that he bought it the day after Valentine’s Day so it was half price. I ate one piece and he and his roommate ate the rest of it. We’ve been married 50 years despite this. 🤗
I love these! I just found out our granddaughter is expecting our 1st Great grandchild! So I’m searching for a simple pattern (my eyes aren’t as good as they once were) to make a baby quilt for them! Suggestions welcome! I have binged watched your videos and like the Garden Path so far. Will it look ok with a small print? Been a while since I’ve quilted but refreshed my memory, and learned some new tricks watching your teaching video series. Looking forward to ordering a book and getting started! Thanks, Patti
Fabulous fabrics! Wish I was able to purchase and sew all the ones I loved seeing. I will try to enjoy all the eye candy 🍬 you show! Being on a fabric diet is very hard! LOL!.
Love the Mardi Gras fabric! The official Mardi Gras colors are actually purple, green and gold. The black and white are just accent colors in the fabric. I would probably work in some gold instead of white
My husband was born on Valentine’s Day and exactly 30 years later our sin was born - on Valentine’s Day. Told my husband I didn’t know what to get him for his birthday so I decided on a child - way back in 1980 we didn’t know we were having a boy, which makes Valentine’s Day especially wonderful for me! I still get cards and flowers - had really weird flowers this year🥴🤮😊😊😊
Thank you Ladies for sharing your talents and enthusiasm. I love your 3 yard quilt methods and the fabric selections are exciting. Would love to make Suite Times with the Love Gnomes. Just purchased the Garden Path pattern for the Mardi Gras quilt. Unfortunately, I'm unable to afford the kits so I'm using alternate fabric from my local craft store to recreate.😍
No greater spring holiday than Easter!!! ⛪
Love zinnia bouquet! Party parade colors are my favorite!
More great patterns and quilts. Love the fun leprechaun characters on the St Patrick’s Day quilt.
