Considering that they weren't in a studio together for Nimona, that their characters don't interact much in the movie, and that on paper they aren't that similar, it is pretty delightful how much chemistry Chloe and Eugene have and kinda funny how much they seem to have in common.
I'm so proud of Eugene, he definitely has the IT factor for sure. I do very much respect the fact that when Ned went off the rails, Eugene and the other boys did not put up with his shit. Love Chloe as well.
Please do something with Riz Ahmed! I was enchanted by his heartfelt performance as Ballister.

This is funny, I actually just saw her when she was very little when I re-watched The Amityville Horror with Ryan Reynolds, probably not his best role LOL. Even though she was like half possessed in that movie, she was so damn cute in her little pink Converse and her matching pink overalls!

How did you manage to make a woke movie that is still entertaining and worth watching?
What's the difference between the team responsible for creating NIMONA and the rest of woke teams that fails miserably to create good content?
Other teams do it just to check a list and don't bother giving said characters a personality other than existing for rapresentation, so they are either walking stereotypes or random background characters.
Instead this one is more realistic and deeper: the characters have a personality and they don't exist just because they have to, they are that way because they happen to be like that, they have feelings, interests, skills, goals, emotions; they aren't the stereotypical images, being gay is just PART of who they are, not everything.. THEY ARE HUMANS.
This movie did the rapresentation perfectly and other films should do it this way too, if they cared about people instead of money.
