Mike - Another great video. Enjoyed watching Melissa split the wood for the basket, your comments on the big logs delivered, and then the Wild Bill segment. Blessings to you and your family. Hi to Hunter, Hannah, and Eva.
Agree with you on Zeli. My family had a camp on the Connie many years ago and I belonged to the flying club at the airport in the early 70s. Perfect little town.
The reason why Zelli is so precious is that citizens there care about their town and are willing to invest their time and money to keep it like that. Mike is about to join in by offering his services to cut boards for the park. It is a wonderful thing to care for the place you live. 👏
You probably know this... but just in case, the shocks on your Ranger are most likely adjustable for carrying heavy loads. On mine you can spin them to a "taller" notch. It helps a lot.
Just about all that old truck could handle, WOW those are nice big logs. Hope Mike makes some reely wide boards for the inside of your new building. will be awsom.
Great video, Melissa! Looking forward to more of Bill’s workshop with Max and the bears. Hope we get to see the handrails after they are installed in the future, Mike. Have a day!
I am in central NC and took down 3 red oaks about 30” at the base. I talked to a local sawyer and he said the red oak wood was very unstable and was better for firewood in his opinion. It may be ok for an outdoor project where you could tolerate the cracking - but that was his advice. I am burning some of it in my woodstove now and it’s doing fine!
Archie is growing fast!, melisa job well done it's so great the way you and Mike work together, and how good of a job working by your self!, Mike is very lucky to have a wife like your self!, great job!. Mike those logs are big!, but I know you will figure out how to cut them up on the saw mill!. Bill is a true artist!.
That big red oak towards the base would look cool as a stump live edge coffee table. That would be a great conversation piece. Hopefully we can see the results in the parks use.
I was watching another RUclips video last night from another channel. A big Tool Rack ad was playing. Guess who's voice I heard throughout the ad??? Yep, Mr Mike Morgan himself. 👏 😎
Really enjoyed the music to split wood by. You mentioned the possibility of nails, but I've never heard you mention having a hand held metal detector. That's really important over time if you end up getting logs that came from subdivisions, farms along a fence row, or other areas where people may have shot the tree or nailed posters or signed on the trunk. Saves the cost of a lot of ruined blades.
For such an active dog, Archie’s expression is priceless. How do they always know when they are going to the Vets? Somehow my dogs always knew something was-up. Good luck Archie.
Good morning Melissa and Mike, great job Melissa, you’re stepping up and stepping out and doing a great job with your working with Mike and on your channel taking things to a different level. Sharing the complete picture is tough but the two of you manage it well. Sure enjoying the added features from your visit with Billy. Keep up the good work and videos. 👍👍👏🏻👏🏻
If you want something done give it to someone who is busy. Good for you Mike taking on the request of the park. You need to treat your wife to a dinner she earned it.
Wild Bill matches his name great guy. That is one huge tree and the bear was impressive I don't have any room for it at home. That huge oak that was delivered was a biggin!!! I have never stopped in Zelienople but I need to do that one day. Thanks for sharing your video with us hey Melissa you did a great job at splitting. Hello Hunter. Ed
Mike, use a metal detector on the tree, some quick scans on the lower portion should pick up any nails and you can safely resolve any nail issues. Good Luck!
Good morning from Waxhaw, NC. I'd say Mike is one lucky man to have a wife that steps up and works beside her man, better yet without supervision. She is a treasure!! I'd have that pool built inside of a "year around building" so she could use it no matter the weather. Always like to watch you trying new things, though I think Mike is getting slow in his old age. I have run a lot of different types of machinery and if you are really good, you become a part of that machine and can make it "walk and talk" and become more efficient and "quick". I'd say, Mike, time to take off the training wheels and let the machine do its job. I'm not criticizing, just speaking from experience. God has blessed you all and I pray for you all like the sisters and brothers you are of the family of God.
I drove down from Metro Detroit in November to Zilly to buy a truck I found online. Very neat town. I even took a drive by your neck of the woods. I actually saw the legend himself leaf blowing out by the road! Looking forward to seeing you running those logs on the mill.
I’m very impressed with the video quality and editing on the first couple minutes of this video. I have the same drone you do and I have nice camera equipment but I Don’t have the skill to make something that smooth. Very well done
At the beginning, I was wondering if this was a Who Needs Mike video! Ha Great Job Melissa. Nice carvings for sure. Can't wait to see how Mike gets the big logs up on the mill.
Im glad that you are going to put together a few more videos of wild bill. I would like to see him do some carving. The guys that do that are truly talented. Stay well, stay safe and yall HAVE A DAY
Mike, This video has a ton of content! A Bear, hand made slide, giant oak wood and Melissa splitting wood and plugging her own channel! One of your best videos!
Boy I could comment forever on this one! I got a red oak two years ago from a friend that was 39x44, still have 2 + cord to mix with this year's firewood. Cut with my 036 pro. I bought a ms462 this year. I think I may reach out about that bear carving, it would look great at the entrance to my 68 acre parcel here in CT.
Good morning everyone. 41º in Kansas City now, close to 50 later today. Expecting rain today with temperatures in the high 30s. Stay safe, be humble & kind and Have a day.
Today I learned how to spell "Zelienople". Very cool of you to work with the Zelienople Park on their project. What a cool name for a town. That would be a fun project to do. The only thing I ever do with logs like that is unfortunately split them into firewood. Cool video!
I went to the Connoquenessing Valley Elementary School in Zelienople, Pennsylvania. If we could spell all that by the end of Kindergarten we went straight to third grade. LOL.
I see quite a few teenagers and twenty somethings that are great! Plenty of "go getters" out there. I do admire a young man that takes PRIDE in their workmanship. Thanks Bill and Max!
You should get that friend of yours to carve that stump-trunk section into a statue for the part in Zilly, and you can make the boards they need from some of the other stuff?????
Fun to watch Bill, I would love to see that slide after it is installed! I almost split my gut laughing when I saw Melissa look around, smell the log, look around smell it again, then pull out a little sliver to chew on.... the latest high-fiber diet trend coming soon to a RUclips advertisement near you!
Good morning from NC! Lots to see in this video. Very cool project with the town park - I think you’ll be happy to have been a part of that. Will you just keep the other lumber? It would be good for the hobby barn paneling - maybe one wall and make a little brass plate showing the source of that wood?
Wow that was an old rickety boom truck that brought the logs! That is something I would stand Clear of while in use!!👍👊
Mike - Another great video. Enjoyed watching Melissa split the wood for the basket, your comments on the big logs delivered, and then the Wild Bill segment. Blessings to you and your family. Hi to Hunter, Hannah, and Eva.
Glad you enjoyed it

Agree with you on Zeli. My family had a camp on the Connie many years ago and I belonged to the flying club at the airport in the early 70s. Perfect little town.
Good morning all. Now that is a BIG red oak. I'd wager it will make some beautiful grade lumber. Have fun.!
Those are gigantic logs. I can’t wait to see you cut them. Your friend is very knowledgeable and quite good. Enjoyed it. Thanks 👍👍👍❤️
The reason why Zelli is so precious is that citizens there care about their town and are willing to invest their time and money to keep it like that. Mike is about to join in by offering his services to cut boards for the park. It is a wonderful thing to care for the place you live. 👏
John, what do you have to give?😎
What a great way to end this video talking about the younger generation Not all bad ..Great story Mike thanks for sharing..
You probably know this... but just in case, the shocks on your Ranger are most likely adjustable for carrying heavy loads. On mine you can spin them to a "taller" notch. It helps a lot.

The town of Zelienople is just west of I 79 north of Pittsburgh about halfway to I 80.
I was watching another RUclips video last night from another channel. A big Tool Rack ad was playing. Guess who's voice I heard throughout the ad??? Yep, Mr Mike Morgan himself. 👏 😎
That is a massive tree. What a great project.
Wow Melissa means business ....
I was elated that we got log splitting, big wood explaining & more time with Bill! Looking forward to more!!! Marcus from Chesapeake VA.

Leave your tote on your forks raised up about 2 feet. Save your back when loading.
Then we would get a 100 comments saying that’s unsafe
@@OutdoorsWithTheMorgans So that's good for business, right?

That was a great one!!!

Your family is awesome!! From Spokane Washington...
Thank you for doing this for your community!
Good morning Morgan's family Ms 880 will get the job done on those red logs
If you want something done give it to someone who is busy.

Yes it is very nice town and I also like to work outside if u know of anyone that is having some trees cut down I have a wood Fireplace
Mike, use a metal detector on the tree, some quick scans on the lower portion should pick up any nails and you can safely resolve any nail issues. Good Luck!
