This is such a beautiful yet sad scene and "I Still Cry" totally portrayed the heavy pain of a great loss, and now the DVD replaced the music I can't watch the DVD. It's just no-longer a moving scene on DVD.
I still can’t believe they killed off his character. The writers tea dragged his character through some hard times. He was a cheater, alcohol and drug abuse, the fallout with Cassidy then loses his job and becomes homeless. Then they redeem his character and bring him back to where he was before all the bad stuff only to kill him off. Completely unnecessary. I guess they thought it would bring a lot of shock and awe and ratings but it didn’t.
The channel that Nash Bridges on today is Heroes & Icons Channel it is that channel on every Mondays from 10a-7p central time zone. AKA 9 episodes a week until that change the schedule on us Like Up channel does with 7th Heaven

They never should of killed Evan off. I was traumatised when it aired 15 years ago and have been re-traumatised after watching the show on DVD. Bastards.

Cassidy's father would've been proud to give her away at her wedding if Evan had survived when Nash took him and some cops out of town to get the man who killed a cop who was a friend of his. Harvey would've been chosen as the best man. But would Nash's ex-wife, Lisa, Cassidy's mother, arrive at the wedding and maybe Cassidy's aunt Stacey, Nash's sister, be there as well? It would also tell if Evan would've either wear a tuxedo, or his dress uniform at the wedding if he hadn't been killed in the line of duty. It was so hard for Nash to tell Cassidy the bad news because she was Evan's girlfriend on and off for 2 years,
And yet I received my complete collection on DVD today and all of the music is replaced with generic garbage, including this wonderful fitting song. I am so pissed!

This was then they had the series finale called fair game aired may 4th 2001.The site was cancelled after this episode due to budget problems with the show
@@wolfieears1984 Chuck Norris felt the same with Walker, Texas Ranger. CBS wanted it to last for a couple more seasons but Chuck wanted to move on and take care of his wife, who was pregnant at the time.
@@wolfieears1984 CBS wanted Nash to continue for at least a couple more seasons but Don was tired and Paramount didn’t want to keep paying 2 Million an episode.

Amen. Evan had just gotten his life back together in season 5.
This episode was on Heros and Icons last March 30th 2020. It takes about 4 months to come around again.
Now that the show is on in a two-hour block each weeknight, the time between the syndication cycle is trimmed in half.
Watched a couple seasons years ago but remember watching it from the start about 96 or so but only saw the first couple seasons
