Is St Mary's island open during September monsoon month?
Hey Samit, St Mary's island opening can be very subjective to the weather conditions and hide tide during monsoons. I would suggest you to govt boating office call 91 8202538779 to get more info before you get there
Which time did u return to get sunset view on the boat while coming back!

Hello Fatima, yeah it's open. 830am to 430pm everyday. If cyclone is there, then they may restrict.
Is the Island closed during June to September ?
Hi Suraj, it will be closed during the monsoon. You can call them and ask about that status on the day of your visit
How to stay whole day in st. Marrys island? Is ter any possible way to start whole day instead of 1hr
Hey Manoj, you can talk with the boat services. They will let you stay for the whole day at added cost. You can callup the boat services number shown in the video
Are changing roome and washrooms available in the islands
No. Washroom or changing room not available on the island
Do they offer scuba diving or any activity , please share the cost.
Scuba is available only in Netrani near Murudeshwar. Udupi doesn't have any scuba diving activity. There are other water sports like parasailing and jetskii at malpe beach

Hi Samuel , thanks a lot. There are many hotels inside Udupi (near the temple). You can check it online. We stayed in Udupi Residency which was ok ok.

If you are going on speed boat then hardly 15min. On govt ferry it can take upto an hour

No. Boat ride is the only way to reach the island

They usually instruct to be back in an hour. But it's not a very strict deadline

That's actually stated. But you can stay for more than 1 hr. Make sure you catch those few last ships to go back during sunset

Can we change clothes in island
No changing rooms as such ! Getting into water is slightly risky.. But wear shorts and dry fit tshirts in case you get wet it dries up faster
What if we want to explore more then 1 hour ?
Hi Akansha, the one hour limit is not a hard deadline, the boats would be continuously doing to and fro between st mary's and malpe. "officially" its one hour, but I remember we stayed for more than 1.5 hours.
