I won't forget how your videos helped me fighting the fear of sharks. No dramas, no useless climax, just a natural narration and amazing shots. Simple yet beautiful :)
This is my home aquarium! I’ve been going for almost 20 years and I’ll never get sick of it. I’ve done this dive as well! Their reef exhibit really is second to none with its shape. So happy to see you make a video about this amazing aquarium!
Beautiful video as always Jonathan! Please do the blue whale episode, Sri Lanka is perfectly safe and there’s resident blue whales. As in, staying there year round. Keep up the awesome work!!!!
Annaaru Sometimes I can’t tell over text, sarcasm? Because swimming with whales is perfectly safe. If you’d like, I could even explain or give you details.
Annaaru Which is why I specified that it’s safe. I was present in Sri Lanka during one of the bombings. If you knew well enough, that was just because it was Easter. Moreover, the places to find whales, aren’t located anywhere near the locations for bomb blasts since they’re not major cities. In fact, one of them’s an island. You know that it’s a country. Even though it’s a small country, it’s never the less a country. Just because a particular part was bombed doesn’t make it Hiroshima. And if you look at it that way, almost every country in the world’s been bombed. If you had to be so cautious, the chances are you’d be living on another planet. The whales pose no threat either so I don’t see any danger here.
King Aadi sri lanka is not going to be the easiest place to live in. As now the army is taking control they would be everywhere and they are not polite, they will ram into your house and search for things. I have friends who returned back to maldives because of the bombings as its very hard to live there.
Wow if I knew you were going to be there I would’ve driven down to the aquarium so fast. Been watching you for years and years and you are kind of a role model for younger divers and to see I had my chance to see you gone is kind of sad. Keep up the great work!
Nothing to see here, just another awesome video on my favorite channel to catch interesting sea life, entertainment and education. Thank you...Plz do a dive in Belize?
Just recently I had a unique experience with a shark. I was at deer field beach kayaking with my friends and family when a small wave nocked me clear off of my kayak. The water was clear and shallow so I could stand up. I looked around, my kayak had been taken a lot shallower by the waves, so I made my way towards my half sunken kayak. When I finally put my hand on the kayak i could hear people screaming from the shore. So I slowly walked towards the people. They told me that five seconds ago there was a shark right were you were standing. So I looked around ( keep in mind that I was waist deep and 10 feet away from the shore) there it was a 8-9ft shark slowly crushing towards me. I for some reason was not scared(maybe I was in shock I don’t remember it to clearly) so I slowly pattled towards shore thinking it was a tarpon or nurse shark. When I got to the shore the people were screaming and pointing at the slow crushing shark. In my opinion the shark just wanted to say HELLO
I dove the Florida Aquarium in December and loved it! Aquarium dives are usually expensive at 150-200 for 30 to 40 minutes, but you see so many fish in one place that you'd have to fly all over to see otherwise. Florida Aquarium's main tank is smaller than Epcot DiveQuest or the GA Aquarium but its still totally worth it and a lot of fun. Their website is really easy to use and all gear is provided though you may bring a mask. I'm looking forward to diving National in Baltimore next.
Wow! I went diving at an aquarium near me with black tip reef sharks 🦈, as well as zebra sharks and the fish do the same thing with the sand when divers are in. You are extremely inspirational and your channel is simply amazing! Edit: Thank you so much Jonathan!
Hey Jonathan Let me guess another one of your great videos Keep them up because I do not know what to do without this channel ✌️👌👍😎 Edit: 3:37 kuda like in barracuda? Edit: 3:49 is that a green or loggerhead sea turtle, if loggerhead it is my favorite because they mainly eat sea food like crustaceans, mollusks, jellyfish, etc. 😂 Edit: 3:03 are those jacks or trevelies? Edit: we love u Jonathan btw I subscribed to your plus channel anyways bbye 😘❤️💕👍👌👋 Edit: this is literally the second time u liked my comment I am your number one fan!!!!!!
Just for curiosity's sake, here's a funny scenario involving LEGO's Bionicle series: You're on a dive in the Caribbean, when you spot some shapes out of the corner of your eye. At first you think it's a small school of fish. But as the shapes gets closer to you, they takes on a more humanoid appearance, finally revealing themselves to be none other then Gali, the wise and gentle Toa of Water. She's accompanied by a few Ga-Matorans, residents of the Village of Water, Ga-Koro. Because of their coloration of various shades of blue, the Toa and her companions are almost invisible in the water. They stares at you inquisitively, their yellow eyes wide. What do you do? A)Swim away fearing that their armed with some sort of other worldly weapons B)Make contact with the group by waving hello, hoping they'll wave back or at least say hi C) Becon her and her friends to follow you and show them some of the animals native to our planet D) Stare at the group in turn, hoping they'll lose interest and swim away.
To change how people's perspective on sharks by interacting is nice. People can tell other people what they saw and even post it online for many to see.
Hey Jonathan, the sardine run in South Africa is approaching. Any chance you’re planning on doing an episode on that? That would be just plain incredible!!!
One of these days we will do that. It's expensive and requires me to be in South Africa for at least 3 weeks, which is a long time for my kids to go without dad.
Truly enjoyed this video. Loved seeing the many sea creatures, but, also aquarium equipment areas that people don't normally get to see. Really riveting video. Keep 'em coming guys!
Ah yes. I remember Florida all right. Back in 2021, I took a trip with my Uncle down towards Punta Gorda, Florida and man was it ever an experience to behold. My whole life I’ve always been around Freshwater Lakes, Ponds, Rivers, and Creeks but never really been near any body of Saltwater before making it my first ever encounter with it. Not only that but I also got to ride amongst Gulf Coast (of course that said boat had to be towed due to some Engine issues it had but it was still a fun as heck ride).
That's an awesome aquarium and another great video Jonathan. I was in Florida once but I didn't know about there. Next time I'm in Florida I'll visit there. I'll tell them you sent me, maybe I'll get to dive there.
Sand Tiger Sharks in aquariums are real riot. When I went to the Georgia Aquarium, there were two males who kept coming up to the window I was at and looking right at me, even though there were 14 windows in the exhibit they were in with over a hundred guests. Their pectoral fins were almost pointed upwards. I doubt it was because I kept telling them they were good boys like you would tell a dog, but I'd like to believe that. Also, one of the shark handlers there told me she used to take care of a sand tiger in a different aquarium who would hide on the other side of the tank every time he saw or smelled the vet.
I remember the day when i have a chance to visit this place, nice and commendable..large aquariums are some of my favorite place to spend around..and to name ushaka in durban is one such great place with old ship as its theme where inside it is full of aquariums..
So nice.. those teeth are really scary and sharp.. that's a great place to watch.. thank to your channel, like me who can't afford to get there can now see it though my PC screen.. cheers..
I'm a diver at Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ. It is a volunteer position and I absolutely love it. Been doing it for over 3 years now. We've got two big exhibits: ocean realm and shark realm. Ocean realm is 760,000 gallons and has a great hammerhead shark as its primary attraction. His name is Anchor. The exhibit also has some silky sharks, Queensland groupers, loggerhead turtles, green turtles, multiple types of rays and various schooling fish. Shark realm is 550,000 gallons and has quite a few shark species including sand tigers, sandbars, black tips and a nurse shark. Besides those two exhibits, I also dive the hippo tank (where Jenny and Buttons spend their days), the shipwreck where our moray eel makes his home, and the penguin playground. Talk about amazing experiences! Random note: my name is also Jonathan and I attended WPI, too. Really is a small, blue world!
Hi Jonathan I want to say a word of thanks for inspiring my younger Sister . She said that she wants to be a marine biologist to explore the vast oceans. She got the idea from your videos btw.🙂
Hi Jonathan...please make a video in Raja Ampat, Sorong Papua Indonesia...u will fine wales & dolphins there also big string ray if u r lucky...!! Luv from Jakarta Indonesia...!! 😍😍😍

Love you sir. You were just amazing. Love from india
Your next aquarium visit should be the Chattanooga aquarium!!
I heard “johnathan meets Theo the pelican” and I was like oh I’m watching all of this
damn that is one glorious mustache, seriously
Yes how did he make a masterpiece of a mustache?
I never thought I would think a grouper was cute but that one enjoying the bubbles was adorable
Nothing to see here, just another awesome video on my favorite channel to catch interesting sea life, entertainment and education. Thank you...Plz do a dive in Belize?
Hi Jonathan. Great Vid. I really want you guys to do a video with the Chattanooga aquarium in Tennessee. That would be amazing.

why these high-quality vidoes have so low Views and Likes?
Thành Đạt Nguyễn There’s not any drama and trash in these videos for most people. People nowadays seem to be attracted to trashy videos.
M D yeah
Wow as always awesome hd video!👏👍
