I was at this show and my favorite part was that the stage at the market hotel is right in front of this window that looks out onto the myrtle ave subway station and so throughout the show we could see the M and the J trains repeatedly pull in behind the band and I think that is so funny and fated and cool. MJ Lenderman playing w the M and J train symbols just glowing above his head.
thanks for sharing! I guess he doesn't play anything from his s/t release these days, that's too bad i'd love to hear some live versions of those tunes.
Have listened to this set a lot, thanks for sharing. Wristwatch is so good. The way the song kicks off and the steel guitar comes in reminds me of Magnolia Electric Co. "Dark Don't Hide It", damn.
I first saw these guys at Pitchfork this year and really enjoyed their set. Their live energy is just so good. This set seemed funkier than most of the others I've heard. Huge fan. Great show. Much love and more love.

Thanks for taping and sharing! This is a monster of a set. What gear did you use? And any chance of a lossless or downloadable version?
Hey, I suggest to buy the album, which is great. But yeah live sets are something else.
And a wristwatch that’s tells me
You’re all alone
