Sarawak is more rustic and tribal than the other states. Some people don’t like that but it’s a heaven for anthropologists and naturalists. Not as touristy as Sabah or the peninsula. And, let’s keep Sarawak that way. Every state has its own unique heritage and characteristics. Good for you Steve & Ivana for exploring the Iban longhouse experience.

I concur. I would consider Steve and Ivana to be most qualified to tell what Malaysia is all about. They've now been to all the states/States in Malaysia. Some people vlog about Malaysia but they've never even set foot or even heard about East Malaysia. 😆

floating logs are logging, might be residues, might it is to be floated elsewhere, might be to block certain entries. you might be sad about uncontrolled logging in that beautiful land, and if it goes unplanned or badly planned, for the greed of certain people....the citizens' suffer. the longhouses folks have been in the dilemma with badly development over the decades...with corruptions as u know...the people suffers. It would have been worked as better amenities , future for the kids, and opportunities for many, as well as foreigners that wish to retire as their second home....
