Andrea’s hairstyle, clothes, makeup and accessories are those of a woman in her thirties or forties. Not a high schooler. I’m pretty sure it was Gabrielle Carteris (or her management) who pushed for this new look, rather than the nerdier look of earlier seasons. That’s common on long running tv shows, so I don’t really blame Carteris. But, again, the effect makes her look so much older than the other characters.

I agree. I work in a middle school. Now that it's warmer girls are wearing short shorts, many of them have their "underbutt" cheek haninging out so it looks like they are wearing underwear. Our school supposedly has a dress code but it's not enforced.
@@nicoleneary1004 Colors aren’t an issue. But some images like drug use and nudity are inappropriate for children and teens to wear to school. I also don’t think students should wear revealing clothing to school.
Wow this is so quaint, I’m a high school teacher today and wish I taught in the 90s. Today girls where bra tops with their cleavage and bellies hanging out, once a girl wore a see through bustier . Most of the time we can’t say anything, there’s no dress code anymore , the policy is that it would infringe on “gender expression” or “be sexist”. Andrea's hair color is very pretty in this season, but the haircut that doesn't work at all. It's not ugly, but it reveals her true age. And her look don't help. Her hairstyle and her look in season 4 make her look younger.
Ha! I thought she really looked older in season 4. The hair looked nice, but the oversized boxy blazers were very matronly. I know mostly they were concealing her pregnancy, but it made her look much older.
@@TaritaLavern Ah ah, right! My memories were misleading me: I looked at some photos and indeed, her look from season 4 aged her even more. The haircut is very good though.
@@maidahaltrecht6577 At least a good decade older than them. I read she didn't disclose her real age when she was cast, all she said was that she was at least 21. Smart lady, she got a nice gig for a long time there! 😂
Steve's right, you don't have to be in love to go to prom, I went to my Junior Prom with one of my friends who was a senior. But we went as friends

This episode and the one that follows are the two best episodes of the whole series
Andrea was maybe 35 years old she reminds me of a teacher.
There aren’t many scenes I’ve seen that she doesn’t remind me of one either. Lol
This episode marks the debut of Tobi and Howard, and Gill was right. They ARE a lot like Andrea and Brandon
Watching this back as an adult I actually think a dress code within reason makes sense.
No it doesn't. There is nothing wrong with T-shirts in various colors with various images on the front

Aaandrea had to clarify that she is, in fact, a graduating high school senior. 😄

You can thank Brandon and Andrea 😆

And she looked chic af in it
Was it a bustier? I thought it resembled more of a corset, if it's the one I'm thinking of.
I love that there's people who don't know what happens next. That's rad. Back in my day everyone knew.
They look like in their 30s, High school magazine...
Exactly 🤦
Andrea looked as old as Mrs. Teasley.
She looks just like Jennifer Aniston with a short perm bob
That girl is Kelsey from All my Children. She gave Sam away to Edmund and Mariah! The one talking to Brandon!
Maria.
Oh my goodness, simpler times......
this was also very common during the whole popularity of gangster rap lol

Andrea acting like this is serious lmao
Lol say you didn’t go to public school without saying it, people would be so up in arms to not be able to wear even a T-shirt etc
It really is
OMG! Showing that students actually cared about what went on in their school!!! 😮
The horror!! 😂
Anyone noticed how much Andrea looks so much like Jennifer Aniston with a short perm bob haircut
Can Andrea still wear her "mom wardrobe"?
Donna Martin graduates! 😂
Andrea looks 45 yo 😅
She should have played Cindy's sister or Jim's mistress.
She was much older than the other actors.

She looks like she could be Brandon’s mom
Not to mention Andrea is one of the worst characters ever
Andrea was super ennoying. She loved Brandon so much that she Was willing to look like a sick puppy following him around.
Of course, Brandon is lazy about this
This episode also marks the debut Superintendent George Ephardt
He was also VERY STRICT
Of course Felice would be on Ephardt's side
Leave it to Andrea to have nice saves. Lol
I love Andrea❤❤❤❤
Weird now seeing Brandon show interest in a motherly figure like Andrea.
Why didn’t Steve just ask Aaaaahndrea to go to the prom? He’s made out with her before. 🤣
Every time you see Donna's mom, you know she's siding with the buzz killer.
So they are fighting against being punished for underage drinking or having drugs at a school event.
🤣
In this clip it is just about the dress code
@@laurao8099 the last part of the video is about drugs and underage drinking at the prom
❤😂😢😅😊
it doesn't make less sense to have dress code in school than having it in jails/prisons which there're
Talk is cheap, Andrea
The school board also makes some "unwritten" rules
The school board are the "bosses". There in charge of what you can and can't do on school grounds and events
