In the Garza podcast he mentions how he started vocalizing in a different way. This is probably less harsh on his voice long term funnily enough

He sounds more like a hardcore vocalist from the 90's and I like that, on the albums he sounds like a fart
@ryoga9404 I think his voice on Masters of Morbidity was the best, but ya the other albums it was a little too mumbley

I don't mind the "hardcore vocals", whether for medical/perfomance reasons or creatively, it's good. But I do have to say, the vocals on Slave To The Scalpel is what made me fall in love with the band.

Never heard of this band before now. Their energy along with how it moves the crowd is amazing. I am now a fan.
Steve has changed his singing style so much since the beginning. I totally understand why with how much they tour but I really like his lower growl. Saw them in Seattle 2022 and bros vocals were on fucking point!
Their mosh pit was certainly the most brutal, and the vocals were on point

It only took a minute to know they were one of my favorite bands. This is what death metal is supposed to sound like to me.

Saw them last night with Frozen Soul and Judiciary in Chicago. Not only was their live show absolutely insane, Steve is one of the most down to earth and kind brothers in the scene. The future of heavy music, especially in the death, hardcore, and thrash scenes right now, is a vibrant one.

The band might be a little fatigued (or hung over 😂) in this show. The singer missed a verse in Tow Rope and the chugs were sloppy too. I've seen them about a year ago, and it was a crazy performance. Going later this month to a show as well.
