Hi guys I want to ask a general question about the differences you see in their training and of course the general style you see them fight with. A noteworthy point is to think that the differences are not technique but the style in which the technique is used. Remember both of these fighters are Soviet trained boxers. So essentially they fight with the same technique but utilise different styles. Think of the TECHNIQUE as the fundamental way they throw punches, their general stance (50% weight on both feet) and general movement - Something the coach will teach them! The STYLE is the pattern in behaviours they use before and while throwing punches - Something they will develop themselves due to natural ability or preference due to another boxer they admire. Now my question to you all is who do you think will win and how do you think that boxer will win?

If injury and age has caught up with Beterbieve then Bivol would win on points, otherwise no chance for him and this will end in the later rounds by stoppage for Beterbieve.

Bivol is looser and more fluid than beterbiev. Though Bivol is less aggressive and but not as fierce. I think in terms of style, Bivol utilizes the soviet style more classically than beterbiev. Bivol is very bouncy in range and out of range. Great movement that i think is levels above beterbiev, who resembles the pressure fighting style of GGG more. Both are structured, disciplined, orderly in the way they move and think. Both have great balance. Their styles are different as it is, and stylistically Bivol has an edge against pressure fighters due to his ability to use his range masterfully and avoid traps that pressure fighters set. he stays off the ropes, stays balanced, stays moving, has quick hands, fast feet, fantastic jab and a sound defense. Beterbiev wont win this fight. Bivol takes it on points
@@Charlessalbox Yes. I see this fight as being similar stylistically to Usyk and beterbiev in the Amateurs. Usyk employs the soviet style as well. It caused problems for beterbiev who just resorted to brawling and following. Usyk got caught, but moved around very well and outclassed him 2 times
@@TheJumpRopePreacherThis is a flawed analysis. Bivol has an “in and out” pendulum style of movement, fast feet but directionally limited. Usyk, much like Loma, has great circular movement in addition to range management. If you watch Beterbiev vs Usyk it was the circular movement that trouble Beterbiev not the in and out movement. Usyk constantly forced Beterbiev to reset through pivots and circling, those aren’t Bivol’s strong suits. Bivol will get pinned to the ropes against Beterbiev and WILL get worn down, damaged, and depleted, the only question is can he wrack up enough points and last all 12 rounds. IMO he won’t last, Beterbiev will stop him in the 10th or 11th.
@mua2 I disagree with Bivol being directionally limited. But you do make a good observation regarding Usyks circular movement being more the factor in winning those fights. Good points. Great fight. I just think Bivol has the better overall boxing ability. He also stays off the ropes and moves around the ring very well as we saw in the Canelo fight. They both have the challenge of their lives in front of them. I just strongly believe bivol is fresher, quicker, and more tricky

I attended the fight Beterbiev vs Callum Smith... second row in the ring! When Beterbiev hits the sound is completely different from other boxers! When he hits the opponent it hurts regardless of whether it's the right or the left. He cashes like a champion, Beterbiev vs. Marcus Browne... what a bloody fight.
Bivol does not have power to back up Beterbive . I think Betrbive stops him in late rounds . if Bivol could not stop 154 lbs Canelo how would he beat this Monster . this fight is 90/10 for Beterbive .
Plausible prediction but I don't think Bivol would try to back Beterbiev up with power punching or strength. I think a more wiser move would be to use boxing skills and movement and then later surprising Beterbiev to hurt him is perhaps the only successful chance he will have - so using speed and a change of rhythm.
@@Charlessalbox Gvozdyk hurt Beterbiev when they fought & Benavides stated that Bivol hits way harder than gvozdyk. Bivol does have power but rather uses precision/speed. He’s even said he prefers to use technique/footwork rather than use mainly power.
@@andresorellana7928forget what Benavidez says, that’s just 1 person’s opinion. Look at the stats, the stats don’t lie, Gvozdyk has always had more stopping power than Bivol. Up Until this past June Bivol hadn’t stopped anyone in over 6 years, that’s abysmal for a top light heavyweight.

What we see from the outside is probably nothing compared to what anyone experiences with him. I'm torn but both have a way to win. Beterbiev is a lot slower and can always be hit but in order to beat him Bivol will need to concentrate more than how he did with Canelo. Beterbiev just needs to apply pressure with accuracy to win.
Both are real Champions with his Fights they want fight against everyone, and with their characters. I love both and because of that I have no favorite in this fight I mean I don’t can say like I want Beterbiev or Bivol as winner, really not, may the best man win, BUT my feeling say me (if both fights with 100%) that Beterbiev wins with KO May the best man win and may God protect both from bad health problems 🤲 (Sorry for my bad English)
