This was a GREAT review and soothing. I will be traveling there in July for my daughter. She runs tracks and it’s the AAU National Championships for a week. I am a platinum elite rewards member with IHG and I have a credit card with them. I am going to use my points so I will only have to pay the daily resort fee. You sold me on how close it is to Disney Springs. My daughter really enjoyed it there when we visited a few years ago. That means I won’t have to travel far for dinner, shopping etc. I am going to subscribe to your channel and I wish you much success.
Thank you for your brilliant tour and review. It was informative and to the point. It showed everything I needed to see without but was to the point interesting and just perfect. Well done. I was trying to decide if I wanted to stay here. I have stayed next door at the B resort a couple of times. I absolutely LOVE the B resort but it’s getting a little pricey. I am from the U.K. and starting to research a 3 week trip to WDW in 2023. I absolutely love staying in this area with Disney Springs being a short walk away. Thank you again. 🤩🤩
Thank you for watching and taking the time to share your feedback. I am happy that this tour was helpful to you. Have a great visit and a magical time at Walt Disney World!
great video 😀. I stayed here twice, around 20 odd years ago when it was still the Courtyard by Marriot. Seems the rooms have unchanged except the decor and some of the amenities. This place was apparently damaged by one of the hurricanes in the mid 2000's and I noticed it was all closed off for renovations in 2008, probably prior to Holiday Inn taking it over.
Staying here for the first time after consistently staying in WDW hotels. This looks great, affordable yet not crappy. If I like it, it may become a go to. My favorite WDW hotel is the Polynesian but I refuse to pay those prices anymore.
Yeah, the Disney Hotels have become VERY expensive for sure. Even the value resorts prices are high. Let us know how your stay is at the Holiday Inn. It is definitely not the Poly, but a nice clean hotel and still on Disney Property.
Hello Deb. Yes, they offer transportation to the parks via shuttle from the hotel. You will have to contact the hotel directly for the schedule as it changes based on the season and park hours.
Happy Pride Month! Thanks for this review, seriously the timing is perfect I was just looking at it for my trip and your review is the most up to date. Thanks!
Hi there, did you take the shuttles to and from the parks? If so what were they like? And do they shuttles that leave before the parks open and after they close? Thanks. Loved the review!
Hello, I did not use the transportation to the parks because I drove my car and as an annual pass holder parking is included. I would suggest contacting the hotel directly for their schedule. I do know that the shuttle to the Theme Parks is free when staying at the resort.
Hey, great tour! May have just sold it us and to my little brother planning his first trip. One question as he can’t drive, do you know what the free shuttle arrangements to the parks are like?
Hi and thank you for watching. We have never used the shuttles to go to the parks ourselves. We we do know is that they run daily to all four theme parks. The hotel posts the schedule daily based on the schedule of the parks. It is important to point out that the shuttles take more time than the Disney Buses because they make stops at multiple hotels and all four Theme Parks. As long as you plan for that extra time, I hear the shuttles are great.
Hiya 🤗 thanks for this video - really really helpful. My mum doesn’t like heights - is there a way to walk to Disney Springs without using the sky bridge? Thank you ☺️
We believe the only way to get to Disney Springs walking from the hotels is to use the sky bridge that goes over the main road. The bridge isn't very hight and it is enclosed if that helps. The only other suggestion would be to take a cab or ride share since they drop off at ground level. All the best.
We plan to visit in May’22 from India. Is the weather too hot? We wud be there around 9-19 may.. also does this hotel offer free shuttle to the parks? Appreciate your reply
Hello and thank you for watching. The weather in Central Florida in May can be quite warm and it is common for afternoon rain showers. That rain does not last very long though. Yes, the hotel has a shuttle to the Disney Parks and you will need to check with the hotel for the daily schedule.
Hey dude, I liked your review so much that you convinced me to stay here! :) I'm booked for September for 7 nights! Got a really great deal for around $107 a night for a king size fireworks view room. I assume that's the room you got too. I have just one more question, I notice some rooms have the concrete balcony and yours have the railing balcony. Without a doubt I prefer yours. Do you know if all the rooms on the fourteenth floor have the same style? If so I will request to stay on that floor. Or will just request that type of balcony but really love to stay on the highest floor so hoping most are like that. Thanks again!
Hi and thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. As for the balconies, I am not sure which ones have railings and which don't. I would definitely recommend staying on the top floor as that will give you the best views for sure. You got a great deal for sure! Let us know after your trip how things went.
@@GioandJC OK no worries. I'll just call ahead as the time get closer or send them an email requesting one with railings. And yeah I want the top floors. I always being as high as possible! Will definitely send you my thoughts when I go!
@@gabyparra8199 I don't know the issue, I have tried TWICE now to post to you and it keep getting erased. It's sooo frustrating. But if you want me to let you know the site I can probably send it to you on your personal channel. I even tried to space it out so its not a link and it STILL gets erased. So if you respond to me I will send it to that way. YT is so odd at times.
@@gabyparra8199 But its a site based out of Asia and its REALLY good. I use it for mostly when I go to Asia (and for my Japan and China Disney trips ;)). It covers everything and not as known as the mainstream sites but very reliable and yes can get a few more better deals at times (but not always). Anyway I promise I will send it if you have a PM here. Sorry it just won't let me post it for some reason!! And I'm so afraid if I keep trying I will get banned (YT literally bans you if you keep sending the same message, probably think you're spamming, and what happened to me not too long ago).
Very nice. I love all the outlets, especially USB. I am glad to see it looking so good. That building was hit hard by a hurricane in 04 (the year we had more hurricanes in one year than in my life combined). It was vacant for years. We would stay next door at what was then the Royal Plaza and wonder if it would ever get fixed. That area has a neat history. Some of the first hotels at Disney. They keep them up very well.
There is a bus that takes you to the parks from the hotels along Hotel Plaza Blvd. However, these buses do not run as frequently as the buses at the actual Disney Hotels and depending on how busy it is you can wait a long time for a bus. So, yes there is free transportation to the parks from this hotel. Thanks for watching.
They offer transportation to the parks but we did not use it as we had our own car. We have heard that it takes a while to get to the parks because they make several stops going and coming. You have to ask the hotel for their schedule. Another option is to to Disney Springs and take the Disney bus to the Contemporary Hotel and walk to the Magic Kingdom. You can take Disney buses to any resort and switch buses to all the parks. Again, not a quick process but an option.
This is a Walt Disney World "Official Resort" and I believe if you book the room via the Walt Disney World website you get the early park or extra hours options. These vary based on the time of year, so it is best to check with the Resort or Walt Disney World directly to find out what is offered during your visit.

I enjoyed the tour and the hotel looks like a great option. Cheers!
It is a great option when you want to be on Disney property and either cannot afford the Disney prices or the Disney Hotels are sold out.

Seems like a nice hotel to stay at. Im afraid of heights so belcony is a no go for me as well as the 14th floor lol thanks for sharing
For a Holiday Inn it is quite lovely!

Thank you Gaby! Happy Pride to you as well and enjoy your trip.
Hi there, great video! Really informative :) Did you stay in a standard king room or a premium?
I booked a standard king room but I think that room was an upgraded room since it was on the top floor.
