these filtera are terrible.. dont put a sponge and sny filter pad in the drain tray where it drains back into the tank. if they get dirty. there is no overflow for the filter.. it will just overflow and leak on yoir floor.. had this happen 3 times to me.. ruined my wood floors..

Do you have a video for setting up your tank? I assume you put this in after the gravel? Or do you put the gravel around it? I am a total novice.

Thank you. This was helpful. Putting the filter on the tank is missing. The curved piece added to the intake valve. Should it be in the water or out of the water? Cannot figure out the function of that piece. No instructions in my box. Someone took them

Those are the specs stamped on the bottom of the motor itself.
It does not specify on the box or the owner/instructions manual.

Spend the extra 15-20 bucks and get an Aquaclear

@@dishatto A filter brand. I tried a Top Fin. Ok at first, wasn't impressed in the long run. I personally haven't found any parts available for it. An Aquaclear you could order all the parts in the filter. You could literally build a filter from scratch if you wanted. Currently running 8 tanks and that's all I use.
