- Anadolu Efes Istanbul repeated as the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champion with a 57-58 victory over Real Madrid with only five players scoring points.

Despite the fact that Efes made us sad in semi final.. I have to admit that Efes plays great basketball!! By far the best team in Europe in the last three years.

Just wow! I feel so lucky to have witnessed Fenerbahce and then Efes in the past 6 years. There was a Turkish team in the last 6 Euroleague finals and they won 3 championships, possibly 4 with the COVID year. Basketball has never been a very popular sport in Turkey but the level has been getting better with new generation Turkish players in the NBA and good club organisation. Respect to all the other teams as always. Basketball is a beautiful game :)

Larkine gelecek olursak savunma olarak cok ekstra oynadi, hucum olarak da savunma olarak da takim tam dustu dusecek derken hep o devreye girdi. Gerisini pleiss ve micic hucumda halletti zaten. Bu kısır ve o kadar da heyecanlı bir final beklemiyordum açıkçası.Efes pota altına bir türlü çözüm üretememesine rağmen maçtan hiç kopmadı.Burada elbette Ergin hocanın müthiş coachingi ve takıma güven faktörlerini atlamamalıyız.Bu yıl birçok maçta yaşadığımız gibi ,rakip psikolojik olarak yıpratılıp yeni aktörler Tibor,Chris ve Bryant(savunmasıyla) devreye girdi ve son çeyrekte maçın bize döndüğü çok netti.Son dakikalarda Madrid benchindeki panik çok belirgindi.Ataman hiç mola bile almayarak, soğukkanlı kalarak takıma kazanıyoruz hissini çok başarılı verdi.Bunu yıl içinde de çok yaptı.
Sözün özü, kötü başlamış bir sezonu , winner ruhunu kaybetmeyen bir takımın nasıl şampiyonluğa çevirebildiğini izlediğimiz müthiş bir sezon yaşadık.
