It appears to be a bouancy based system, where wood will sink, and propellers "float" keeping the rest of the ship out of the water.
No, instead, the core makes the ship float. No core, no float.

@@Santisima_Trinidad also, wood is very buoyant (but it isn’t buoyant above water)
@@bottleojam7469 thats pretty weird and doesn't make any sense.
@@Santisima_Trinidad wood creates an upward force in water, but creates a downwards force out of water. so, you can add wood below the water to raise that area slightly. so if a boat has too much wood above and below water, it might crush the middle.(also, jacko666 is right in that any structure in the water will sink after a bit without a core)
Pretty sure those energy barriers were working, Baron just derped & failed to realize they were also blocking the stray rounds from the enemy counter-fire

when the enemy carrier snapped, it looked like a assault boat until then it turns into a assault submarine
I cannot wait for Incursus to put energy superweapons on a boat or use T3 mortars on a boat.
I just cannot wait for the shenanigans that are going to occur.

These deck gubs especially when upgraded to level 3, are going to be horrifying for anyone who likes to build armor and little defensive measures. Also the orbital laser will be even more scary due to the fact it can pierce through armor or wood like it's nothing.

The energy shield and the thunderbolt plane is just basically a CIWS/C-RAM and the thunderbolt is a A-10, pretty obvious.
