      I am pretty sure you are right. That's what I found on my favourite Amoeba's website:

      I think I'll trust James Weiss (Master of microscopes from "Journey to the microcosmos") who commented on a Reddit posting I did about these. That's what he said:
      "Looks like chytrid spores, they parasitize a number of protist groups, but there is really not much of research on them. The spores however look decomposing, seems like from a moss sample that gone bad. :)"
