  • How can cycling can help to build community, make a better, more sustainable Glasgow and contribute to Scotland’s efforts to tackle the climate crisis?
Theatre-maker Lewis Hetherington and film-maker Geraldine Heaney have been embedded in the inspiring work of the VeloCommunities project run by Glasgow-based cycling charity Bike for Good.
VeloCommunities is the 1,000th project to receive funding from the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund and the embedded artist project aims to celebrate and highlight some of the amazing stories of individuals and communities taking action on climate change in their local area, whilst recognising the need for ever more ambitious work across society to reduce our dependency on fossil fuels and support sustainable modes of travel including cycling.
