    What a great film.
Glad to have learned about Dr. Linton and the Eugene Bell team. Absolute heros.

I can't believe they can't even bother to build some benches, so the wretched, tired people have somewhere to sit. All this misery just so Kim family can have slave labor.

Great video. I too wish that more people understood that the North Korean People themselves are like any other. They need help, but are mostly unable to get it. We're not really enemies.

People don’t want to donate to North Koreans? I dispute that! I’m American and have no problem donating to North Koreans if they’re in need. Any nation can suffer from drought, floods, wildfires, earthquakes, tsunamis, outbreaks of disease, or ravages of war or political turmoil. The ordinary citizens of North Korea seem to be friendly, polite, quite ordinary people who want to live their lives, raise their children, go to work and school, grow old together, just like people around the world. I’d not hesitate to donate to the TB hospital or those who run it. Reluctance to donate to any worthy cause is due to corruption, usually of high officials or criminals who steal from the poor and ordinary citizens. For example, Kim Jong Un shouldn’t take food donations. He is very overweight and doesn’t need it, whereas food for a poor rural widow with children may mean the difference between life and death. (Although I must note Kim Jong Un has lost weight and looks much healthier than he did several years ago.)

North Korea's biggest import is Humanitarian Aid from Christian NPOs. Although there was a 7 year hiatus on U.S. Imports that resumed in 2023.

The leaders of this country dont want to help them cause that will show the world they know very little about helping ppl because they dont got real hospitals, by that i mean they dont got most common equipment and machines.

TB... you'll be coughing up pieces of your lungs while they slowly fill up with fluid that you'll slowly drown in... what a horrible way to go.

They (the filmmaker) literally said Spring 2013 being the first visit, then went 4 times over the next 2 years. So between 2013-2015, which is about right considering Kim Jong-un was a bit more easy with tourism during this time as they were trying real hard to impress outsiders as being a very progressive and modern (it was still very restrictive and you had to have a VERY good reason to not be treated as a typical tourist, but they still were followed and told where they could and couldn’t go). It’d be another couple years before restrictions were tightened again, bringing in the bans and not allowing any outside help for anything (especially when nuclear launch tests were all in the news, making tensions between NK and many other nations very hectic).
Edit: to also mention, them being from South Korea really helped make the film possible. If they were from anywhere else, it wouldn’t have been allowed aside from China or something. The North and South have a very special bond despite the differences and tension.

Thats the way it goes when ppl dont have doctors with proper education and medication. They have had it for so long it has become a super problem, they should have handled this in the beginning so it didnt become like this

When you help North Korea it only promotes their leader as he doesn't allow anyone to get any praise. Why help such a country with such a leader, it's a waste of time. In my opinion.
