- Hey guys FjCuts here & im back with another video where I done a reperm on my client! He got a perm 2 months ago & now its time for the reperm.
Hair Length : 4-5 inches long
In this video I used:
- Brick red rods
- Bandana
- Duck Clip
- Comb
- Water (spray bottle)
- Vasaline
- Schwarzkopf (foam/neutraliser)

you need to show a after clip of your hair after several days when you let the solution sit cause it looks way different after you have washed your hair

Kevinnn u can wait for 2-4 weeks but your hair will be fucked if u do it earlier than that but I would recommend 8-12 weeks that’s 2 months

What i do is i get a perm
Let it grow out have a men bum for a while and after 7 months get a new fresh one

A perm solution left on for 1 hour 30 mins!!!! Over processed hair. Why use the solution for coloured hair when you should use the resistant / normal hair and leave it on for the max of 30mins. You must check the curl pattern after 10mins until the right pattern is achieved. Then rinse and pat dry, apply the neutralizer for max 15 mins...

I have an important question: why do you leave the products in the hair for 1 hour and 30 minutes and then 45 minutes? Because on the box, of your product on your website it says “curls in 25 minutes” or something like that. I’m just confused and hope you see this!
yeah i bought the kit yesterday and i’m not sure whether to use the instructions or do what fjcuts says
Kenji trust me.. so what FJcuts did cuz my hair was super curly! If you follow the instructions it will not be as curly as if you followed his directions. But make sure you take proper care of your hair by trimming the tips every week or two so you don’t end up with split ends and make sure you put hydration products in your hair often and hair masks to keep it strong and healthy! Hope this helps bud

When you do a perm since you always do the really tight ones, could you do one on someone that’s like tight but not as tight as yours or others? Like a perm a white person would get (not too tight but not too loose) rather than all the Afro perms you’ve been doing?

So I permed my hair several times and I always realize that once a months goes by or as my hair grows, the back of my hair always seems to get straight compare to the front or middle. Is there anyway to fix that? So the next time I reperm my hair I know?
@Broken Depression .. I would suggest you allow your hair to air dry for 30 minutes after you wash the first solution out - before the neutralizer .. Reason is the less water you have ion your hair the more your hair will soak up the nutralizer . Additionally , I wouldn't put any water or styling products in the hair for 72 hours .. I perm my 15 year old Sons hair like this and he loves his curls - better than any salon I've taken him to ..Oh , and also try purchasing a heat activating perm .. you may want to do some research on the kind of perm you need as well. It has something to so with Acid and the PH balance .. I watched a video on you tube , a cosmetology teacher was instructing her students the entire perming procedure as well as the type of perms available for certain types of hair ..

Same happen when I had my perm g but after your perm is done your gonna see who much it makes your thinner and also your gonna loose a lot of hair bc it breaks down your atoms in which your normal hair was so your loosing a lot of hair and if you are gonna do a reperm you should wait at least until it thickens again

Yep, its because I didnt use heat
I’ve had many perms. Some tight and some loose. I’ve never had the solution left on for so long. At some point the Solution stops working and/or your hair will not soak up anymore solution. Especially if your hair had been permed before. There’s no reason to break down the bonds as much. You want the neutralized to do most of the work. Since it forms the bonds into a new wave pattern. Is this guy even a professional? Why would you purposely go against manufacturers recommendations.

Yep, you can tell him you dont want to trim the top. The use of duck clips will stop him from trimming the top!
