- 👋🏻 Hey guys! In today's video, I take on the Chinese Gaokao Exam (高考) - Mathematics/ Maths/ Math Paper which I've heard is very challenging. I will compete against one of the top students in China - Papaya who scored 148/150 for his Gaokao Exam and is a Chinese Olympiad Gold Medallist studying at Peking University and is ranked 1st in his major. This exam was much harder than the HSC Extension 2 Paper but not as difficult as Olympiad Level Maths Problems.

I got 99.65 as my ATAR. And I only spent year 11 and 12 in Australia. Before that, I was in China, as an average student. So you know.😂
Do Chinese retake gaokao exam ?? How many students per year repeat??????
@Stillstupid497 yes, you can retake GaoKao. So this is NOT actually the hardest test. The actually hardest test is zhongkao 中考, the high school entrance exam. Of course the test material isn't as advanced, but there is NO retake. So if you are the bottom 50% of the students, you are doomed to become lower class worker for life by a single test at age of 15.
give you guys a bit taste of 2022 gaokao math, Q22 (new test paper I, science direction)
Functions f(x)=e^x-ax, g(x)=ax-lnx, they have same max (or min) value, 1) solve for value of a, 2) prove that there exists a straight line y=b, which intersects y=f(x) and y=g(x) at 3 different locations, and, from left to right, the x coordinates of the 3 intersection points consist of an arithmetic progression.

In India IIT is same as Gaoko maybe lower or higher xuz oxford students weren't able to score good in it (they were toppers of oxford)

I informed myself about arbitrage betting a little and realized that in European countries like Germany there is a tax fee of 5% on your profit if you win. Therefore it is barely possible to find actual arbitrages, because most are above 95%, or am I wrong? Thank you.
I have a Q how to do arbitrage betting on horses? There are 9 horses and there total odds is always more than 100 no matter how much diff bookmaker i use

Okay, we do have a very difficult exam in Brazil called “vestibular” that is the entry pathway exam that every university has on their own. The most difficult one is from “ITA” (technological institute of aviation” and USP “University of Sao Paulo”. They are far more difficult than any exam in Australia (I live in Australia at the moment)

Did you know that the GaoKao exam is very similar to that other archaic law, the Hukao! Both are intended to keep rural children in their home town and offer them only a slight chance of advancement. And how do they do this you ask! A prominent educator in China pointed out these facts. You can deduce what you want from them. You would assume that this 9 hour exam was homogeneous throughout China. You would be WRONG. The Chinese scholar pointed out that the GaoKao exam in the rural areas of China was far more difficult than the one in the 1st tier cities. His conclusion was…in order to keep the rural students in their rural areas and not have them come to the big cities to attend universities, making their exam harder would mean their marks would be lower than the students in the bigger cities. In a nutshell, students in the big cities remain in the big cities and get 1st crack at the universities in those big cities. Students in rural areas get lower marks so are delegated to vocational instructions in the smaller cities. Another classic example of CCP controlling the good people of China from their birth until their death!

dont write this type of comment .............Chinese students are much more better than maths than indian ... go check records of International Maths Olmpiad......
@@ray-lw7bf its not just maths that comes in a jee advanced exam.....chemistry and physics are also included....and questions from both of them come at a high level of knowledge...this chinese exam is tough when it comes to competition no doubt about that but when it comes to difficulty of questions jee advanced is tougher

In Italy, at least 5 years ago when I had mine, it was 10-12 hours across 3 days as well, don't see the point.
